I'm on linux mint atm.
On windows 10 it didn't work at all.

Right now Fn F12 seems to work but it crashes my game (and my laptop depending on the game so I have to force shut down).

Ah, so it's possible to use the chandelier as a platform. Well, I guessed as much the moment I entered the room, but for some reason I couldn't get my character to land on the platform. The jumping animation/frames in this game seem very rigid.
