There were mute films once. And you can do a lot of characterization by mimics, stance and action instead of words. You only need a competent director and expressive actor.

The silent protag meme was about leaving dialogue bits up to the player or in other words headcanons. Of course it still assumes that you would be speaking in context since NPC responses always imply that you were talking to them about certain in-game objectives or events.

Probably that's what they'll end up doing, using some no-name testing staff that doesn't make it to GLaDOS or doesn't end up escaping so it doesn't impact the little canon Portal has. Either that or it'll be post-Portal 2 and it's one of the testing staff that all went braindead except this one guy/girl didn't.

KotOR and Academy made me realise how much potential Star Wars has as a series of isolated stories. It could go fantasy, full sci-fi or blend both of them. Make a lot of unrelated stuff and expand its lore to depths we can only imagine.

This kind of show where you use a different style each chapter so every story looks from a slightly different world. It applies wonderfully to galactic stuff

I really liked the past few years for action movies. John Wick, The Raid, HH, they were all pretty fun to watch.

It had refs to pretty much all Warcraft games. The fantasy and magic were fucking great. It did feel like Warcraft . Somewhat cartoony style here and there but fucking brutal shit everywhere. The biggest problem of the movie was that it didn't have time to explain itself, so they made a movie only the players could get. Otherwise it was just pretty. Also special effects were combined like a warcraft fantasy movie should be.
