I doubt they will even get to Times Square. These protests always start downtown and the cops redirect them. I'll be pretty surprised if they get to Times Square in any serious numbers. They have to get off the bus somewhere and the urge to make a spectacle of themselves right away and as they pass other landmarks will be irresistible. I predict a minor chimout at Union Square, after which the NYPD will perform their neatest trick, which is to send their nonwhite officers to the front and have them march alongside the protestors.
