For printing, I suggest printing from a public place like an Office Depot, internet cafe, college. Most modern printers leave identifiers. It is a gamble. Try to get an old ink printer if you can. Only problem is the limited ink supply left intended for them.

It's my understanding that the level of data can vary depending on make and model, but presumably if a printer is connected to the internet or registered online, you can bet that information will be in the dots. If they know the serial number, they can more easily track down when it was purchased, and if it's registered, which is sometimes necessary with newer printers, then that serial number is connected to your information.

Additionally, if you did not know, all printers tend to have small harddrives in them that keep a record of everything printed on them. Big office printers especially. Some people go out of their way to garbage pick and buy old printers because you can crack that shit open and get all kinds of private information, credit cards, SSN, and other identity theft-type shit…

Which brings me to you.. This is potentially a good idea, but doesn't leave you invulnerable. All of this is predicated on whether or not any law enforcement or Alphabet Agency takes issue with these signs. If they do, they could try and check the dots which could lead them to the printer, which gives them the harddrive that has the exact date and time it was printed, which they then check on the security cam footage..

It varies between printers, I beleive the most common tracking dots are yellow marks covering the whole page. There's sites where people check what tracking marks different models leave. Just search for your one's name and "tracking".
