Conversely GG has arguably been more successful fighting them than many because Holla Forums had a lot of heavy internet users as well.

Lots of the more active SJWs are essentially fulltime internet users who live off welfare/disability or monetize their SJW activities through Patreon or the like. GGs support seems spread out across more people rather than the handful of fulltime SJWs who always pop up, so it's less of an issue, but we have a disproportionate number of NEETs as well. Giving political influence to the people who dedicate that much time to posting about politics seems to have a distorting effect, increasing extremism, giving disproportionate power to non-representative demographics, professional victims/activists, encouraging SJW-type tactics, etc. Honestly Holla Forums probably shouldn't be having as much influence as it is either, that's a product of the same phenomenon. Anyway, a ton of cucks, the relevant one being a major dev for shadowrun and battletech, started talking shit about how awful the tabletop community was and how bad white men are for allowing a women to get harassed and bigotry to exist. The guy then apologized for being white. What ended up happening is that the game store in question actually had a lot of female players, and the owners were a wife and husband team. The wife and a few of the people there called them out for believing that shit and lying to make the narrative about hobbies hating women more true. The shadowrun/battletech devs ended up saying they did not believe it and a ton of fanboys of shadowrun ended up trying to review bomb the store and harass the people who went there for being bigots. The dev even tried to make them stop selling shadowrun and related products.

I also forgot to mention that a few PR people and devs there tried to argue about Mechwarrior and Shadowrun being about fighting prejudice and bigotry in some way. Shadowrun was supposed to display how the tech scene and /tg/ scene is apparently rampant with bigots that needed to be stopped and how bad rich people are. The mechwarrior thing was never explained really.
