People only convert to a religion if it provides them with something: money, support, good feelings. You won't convert leftists because they get all those things from leftism. We can think about what system we could put in place, but Christianity is extremely fragmented and doesn't stand against modern knowledge. The biggest problem is the language, idioms and analogies used don't explain the concepts well and so people don't understand it, and either don't believe it and do the wrong thing. Orthodox is spreading only because it acts like a safety net for people that see problems within christianity but are afraid to leave it all behind. Those people need answers but are afraid of leaving the open-ended questions that christianity imposes. The implied authenticity of eastern orthodox is the selling point but beyond that still is subject to the inherent flaws of christianity as a whole.
When people are ready to accept the flaws, so too will safety-net versions of christanity disappear.
I'm currently taking catechism in the Orthodox church, hoping to get baptized within the next year. My priest regularly calls out muslims and jews. I was pagan for most of my life so joining the church is a kind of strange development for me, but the experience has been completely awesome so far.

Half of my family is Roman Catholic. I was raised that way. The other half is Russian Orthodox. I remember attending an Orthodox Divine Liturgy as a child. I fell away from the Catholic church in my later teens like many do. Spent most of my 20s not caring. Now I'm in my later 20s, just married, and both my wife and I are coming to realize how much faith has played a part in keeping us level-headed in a world of degeneracy. I ordered the Orthodox Study Bible and I'm slowly making my way through. Sometimes I throw on a sermon from an Orthodox priest in the background as I do other things. It's refreshing to hear a priest taking a hard stance against all things degenerate, in comparison to the slow cucking of Catholic priests and thought in the church. The last thing I enjoy is the national aspect of the church. I'm an American-Slavic mutt. No matter where I move, if there's an Orthodox church, I will find fellow Slavic-Americans there. It's important to keep your culture.
