But seriously though, the last halfway decent Telltale game was TWAU, If the writers wrote a little bit less of a shit mystery it would have been great, but it was a mess with a Shamaylon tier twist that doesn't fit into the Fables canon at all

Turned to shit after the first episode where they fucking rewrote everything because people figured out the plot, the only good characters were Woody and Auntie Greenleaf. Any scene not involving those two as major characters were horseshit.

First two episodes were great, episode three depends on who you ask, episode four and five were shit with a few decent sections such as the fingergun one. It went to utter shit when it stopped being silly corps and thiefs doing silly shit to get their money back and tried to go full serious along with the addition of Burch on the writing team.

If I'm not allowed to have Kenny you're not allowed to have shit either.

Kenny was the best character in S2 but what pisses me off is that his supposed "death" in S1 was supposed to be closure for his story arc.

S2 was so shit that they had to ruin a good chatacyer's story arc to even male it remotely good.

I stopped playing sometime around the scene where you have to either rescue that retard girl or leave her there to get eaten. I didn't feel like coaching an autist through a zombie apocalypse so I just left her and stopped playing because it was so boring.

That was almost the end.
Yeah I don't really get Sarah either, I still insisted on saving her because I know nothing can go wrong in this game, and what do you know it she survives.

I don't know about you but S1 kenny was pretty underdeveloped to me, if in Episode 2 you didn't agree with him completly that we needed to flatten Larry's head then he was a complete Asshole to you for the rest of the season, and vice versa if you did agree he was your unquestioning yes man, he just seemed too flat and one noted, him getting "killed off" in S1 just felt sorta flat to me, like, okay? thats it? I feel like him coming back in S2 is a complete ass-pull though, like how fucking coincidental is it that Kenny and Clem both ended up going the same way north, even after Clem switched groups twice.

Even still, the boatman was the most morally upright person in all of S2, stood up against tyranny, lost an eye, beat the shit out of communism for America

Kenny might be kind of a dick, sure but among the rest of the absolute assholes in the game Kenny is the only one you can fully rely on.
The rest either dies, sucks or betray you, while Kenny was the single one character that manage to pull his weight and be useful.

It had something to do with "the boy who cried wolf". The episode titles check out with this theory and preview for ep2 showed a lot of scenes never shown in released episode. There was also supposed to be more plot related to mundies investigation on the fables (FBI and shit)

Sarah's whole arc was such bullshit anyway.
You're told to like this girl, to feel bad for her and to try to help her along. Her dad gets fucked and you're the only one who can attempt to get her to turn into a productive member of a group.

He must have lost his shit/become completely uncooperative at least 5 times in both seasons.. He was a badass sure, but fuck man – just put down the poor son of a bitch, he's already lost TWO families and an eye anyway. You really want someone who's that fucking crazy looking after you? At least Jane could keep her cool man.. Not true, he acted a bit like an asshole in the beginning of episode 3, but then went back to normal.

Clem reaching Wellington and Kenny leaving alone is the best ending. Most emotion and best wrap up to his arc I think. After all the suffering and loss, Kenny finally does something right and sees Clem to safety. He can then kill himself or simply die off, in peace.

Jane was also a manipulative piece of shit that ultimately led to Kenny's final breakdown. If she hadn't decided to leave a weeks old infant alone in a car in the middle of a snowy zombie apocalypse, the man would never have gone off on his final moment of hate, which would never have led to you needing to decide between saving Jane or Kenny.

Don't get me wrong, I also went with Jane/Clem ending because I thought he'd gotten too crazy for anyone's good (and I thought that trying to have Clem tell Jane to fuck off would only lead to a bad end) but things would have been better off if Jane had just not been a fucking cunt in that final episode. Especially knowing that, in the Kenny end, he willingly leaves.

TLDR; Jane's a cunt, and Kenny didn't deserve what happened to him.
