This is still a subsonic speed. According to the Standard Atmosphere, the speed of sound at sea level is 761.2 mph, so that makes 650 mph a flight Mach of 0.85.
The only problem becomes overload of the wings and flutter. Overload is caused by the higher density at sea level for the same flight speed as cruise flight. Flutter is when an airplanes lifting surfaces oscillate in a way that can damage the airplane. If you strengthened the wing structure in such a way to do away with these two issues, you could feasibly have an airplane that looks just like the original, but can fly at Mach 0.85 at sea level.

If ATC sees a blip moving consistently at airliner speeds, it definitely isn't a bird or "nothing".

That's the ignition temperature for a bulk HOMEMADE thermite reaction. The grains of aluminum and iron oxide are huge in this mixture compared to a nano-thermite.
I suspect that nano-thermite would have a lower ignition temperature (read: activation energy) because it is mixed on such a small scale. It would require a much lower amount of heat transferred per unit mass to start the reaction. This is why I think it's feasible that the dust got into an arc gap, or some pretty hot surface and ignited fires.

If the charges were in the buildings before the planes hit, it is possible that the planes could have dislodged some of the thermite charges and ignited them simultaneously.
The impact from the planes would fling the thermite across the debris field (which this video is a part of indicated by the papers and dust strewn across the floor) and were it could melt its way into a car where it and cause an engine or gas tank fire. This would explain why there were cars in the aircraft collision debris field on fire before the towers fell.

Where is that chart from? Here's an embed of Woods describing the problems with the seismic data on 9/11. The seismic signal of the towers being destroyed is only 8 seconds long, and it would take 8.5 seconds for an object dropped from the top of one of the towers to hit the ground. What this means is that the buildings disappeared faster than free fall speed. The seismic signal of a controlled demolition is usually over double the time it would take for a massive object to be dropped from the top of the building being destroyed (e.g. the seismic signal for each Twin Tower should have been over 16 seconds long).

Approximately 12% of each tower's volume was solid matter; 12% of 110 is 13.2%, thus the volume of the debris should have been at least 12-storeys. that wall collapse was due to a fire that started about 15 minutes (guesstimate) after first impact. First responders where called to back off because their was a suspicions of a second attack (Boeing 757–222 Flight 93 was still in the air). The fire engines, many of them, were parked between the buildings. There are photos from above showing that. They didn‘t “melt”, they were crushed. There was an enormous field of debris around the towers also in side streets even before the towers collapsed. It came from the plane crash in the building.
