I used to be a huge movie fan but like others here haven't paid for a kike movie in a decade. And before that I had the blockbuster all you can rent deal and I was ripping and burning 6 dvd's per day for a while. Now there are torrents with full HD video and sound but the content is so shitty I don't even bother anymore. The only ones I download these days are movies from the 90's/early 2000's that have been rescanned in HD. Movies were a lot better when the "moral majority" still had enough sway to keep the kikery to a minimum.

I don't think there will be good cinema for a while. As cameras like the red one and other 4k cameras come down in price the future will be independent films that focus on stories rather than special effects. And the rapidly dropping price of pro cameras will mean lots of naughty goys can get in on the action. As much as I hate most of them I think at some point you're going to see theaters playing movies/productions made by ecelebs as well.

Took my dad to see it, he'd never seen it. Me and him were only 2 in the theater. Great 4K pre-conversion remastering, then top-notch 3D conversion, probably the best 3D I've ever seen in terms of balance and fine tuning of the depth in effects.

I mostly collect Grindhouse type movies and cheese flicks from the 70s-90s, those were the best decades of entertainment, everything past 2000 is really complete shit by comparison.

When you have access to services like Netflix and have a seemingly infinite amount of hit shows available like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, etc. and movies, you're really far less inclined to go out and watch movies that seem mediocre. I think that half of the people who went out to watch shit like Deuce Bigalow and other crapfests back in the day did so just to get out of the house because they didn't want to watch a Friends rerun on cable for the billionth time.

I haven't actually been to one in years (the last movie I think I went to was the first Avengers) but I've heard that it's routine for a ticket to be over $10. Now add on overpriced (and generally underwhelming) theatre food and you can easily end up paying $30 per person for a 90 minute movie where you may have to also deal with annoying children and annoying adults who have to constantly text. Alternatively you could stay home, watch the same movie a few months later on Netflix (it's not like Guardians of the Galaxy 17 will be different just because you're not watching it on the day of release) or something, do it more comfortably, be able to pause if need be and take a shit where you know that the toilet is clean, and can have a $15 pizza (compared to $5 per shitty slice of theatre pizza) delivered while not having to deal with chattering mouthbreathers as you watch the movie.

Everything you're selling me is what I've seen before except now you try to sell me it with "But it's with women!" or "There are fewer white people!" Wow, I'll pass. And I don't want to see The Avengers 15. There are still alot of movies that I would love to go see on a big screen if they had a movie adaptation. Examples would be a Battletech movie or Warhammer 40k movie or TV series.

Very few movies try any new ideas, it's making the films stale and people are showing it with their wallets.

The result is boring plots, that would be fine if characters could be interesting - but characters and dialogue aren't interesting at all. It's all tokenism and even worse its not believable. In a media mostly consumed by males it's not a good marketing strategy.

It's no surprise that some of the best, most interesting recent films are ones that deconstruct the WOMEN STRONK DEAL WITH IT MEN trope (Sicario is a particularly great example) or simply stories stolen from foreign markets.

The movie industry is dying because the theater format is completely and utterly fucked beyond belief. Most movie special effects and audio design are built entirely around the huge 110dB theater experience staring up at an enormous screen, not around the most-common format of sitting on a couch, with the volume at reasonable levels, looking at a TV.

So, the average normalfag goes to the theater, pays $10-15 per person, plus $10-30 for snacks, plus gas money or parking money since the majority of theaters are located in depressing mall complexes. You arrive at the actual theater proper, and unless you're going a week or two after the movie first comes out, then you're fucked for seating. Regardless, unless the theater is empty, there will always be small children or unruly teenagers sitting next to you, or behind you, kicking your cumstained seat. You're then blasted with 30+ minutes of ads before the movie starts.
When the movie starts, it turns out that it's nothing but the same movie you saw three years ago, except now with more bullshit narratives and token minorities that even you, as a normalfag, are absolutely fucking tired of. The entire time, you're being blasted with noise, blasted with pop music or generic action shit, the screen is nothing but random garbage and overwhelming special effects, and it just goes on. It's all sound and fury, signifying nothing. For hours. Add to that some fucking kids kicking your seat or some teenagers necking each other next to you or some asshole with SARS coughing his lungs out in front of you or some dumbass taking a video of the movie on his fully-lit iPad will ruin any sense of immersion you might have gotten from having your senses fistfucked.

When it's all over, you're considerably more aggravated, you're far poorer, you've wasted hours of your life, and now you have to navigate some crowds just to get out. Your shoes are noticeably stickier and when the lights are turned up you avert your eyes from the seats to avoid what exactly you were sitting in.

Now compare and contrast this to paying for $10 for Netflix, or $0 if you're even a bit technologically competent. You get to watch a movie in the comfort of your home, eating food that is way healthier and way cheaper, without having assholes sitting around you, being able to hear yourself think. When a movie is absolutely garbage, you can stop watching it at any time and just watch something else, instead of being forced to sit there for another hour or two trying to mentally justify to yourself as to why you blew all this money on a shitty movie.

Remove the theater system, allow people to easily stream and watch movies (or pay a higher fee for DRM-free downloadable versions with higher quality), and revenues will skyrocket.
But the kikes in Hollywood will never let this happen because they want ever single shekel in the short term, even if it fucks them in the long term. They have no human empathy, they have no long-term planning.

I too worked in hollywood, any once you get above a certain level its 90% jews. Writing, directing, acting, all jews. The one place it isn't 90% kikes is CGI. Depends on the theatre, though. I generally just wait for movies to hit the second-run theatre where I am and only pay $6 Canadian (less on Tuesdays) and the quality of the theatre is comparable to Cineplex Odeon other than maybe the screen being slightly smaller.

Even on the rare occasions I see movies at Cineplex, I never pay more than $11.50 for a ticket because I don't bother with 3D or IMAX and I don't go to the one venue with the fancy leather seating that brings food to your chair. And that's plus nothing for food because I don't eat at the movies, I eat beforehand.

Highlights of the battle include the English catching the Norsemen by surprise, with the Norse unready for battle and without their armour - a humorous yet brutal affair. Then the heroic Norseman singlehandedly holding the bridge until he is impaled from beneath by a spear. Potentially an embellished encounter between Harold and his brother Tostig, with Tostig being slain. Harald Hadrada is killed and we have the English victory, everything seems good… then 'cliffhanger' ending where Harold Godwinson is informed that the Normans are invading to the South.
Part 2 could go into more depth regarding the story of William the Bastard, showing his brothers going off to conquer other lands and all the dirty political intrigue that went on. Climax would be the battle of Hastings. Highlights would be the seemingly-heroic English charge and Norman retreat, with the the Normans then regrouping once the unbreakable shieldwall had been 'broken' due to the charge, and the English being slaughter by crossbowfire and cavalry charges. Tragic death of Harold Godwinson, and then the crowning of William the Bastard, now shunning that title and becoming William the Conqueror.

So much potential for emotion, both with the brotherly struggle of Harold and Tostig, the betrayal, the all-out wars, the desperation, victory and defeat. Harold proves himself a worthy King in the first film, with William proving himself more than a mere bastard and a worthy King also in the second film.

If Midnight's Edge is correct about the legal stuff, there is no way that an actual Trek series can be made at this point, due to the copyright being split between two different companies. The terms of the agreement are basically "You can make a Star Trek show, but it can't have visuals, ships, outfits, etc. that look like the previous movies and TV series."
