There were multiple reports, most importantly from Polygon and Kotaku, about the Polaris Game Jam being shafted. Polygon's article in particular used Zoe as a source for the story.

Since we've got admittance she screwed over the event, we could do two things. Email campaign to knock down advertisers, or press for an edit of the article that says Zoe was the one that messed everything up.

Kotaku's Nathan Grayson also covered the story, exactly one day before he gave $800 to her, without proper disclosure, of course.

Her newest thing is being sponsored by Taco Bell, right? This one is kind of just for kicks, but it would be fun to get Taco Bell to back off in sponsorship.

Two strategies for doing that.

The direct method is to use any segment of the leaks that how much of a shitty person she is, specifically using her admittance of trashing the Polaris Game Jam. That's important, because it was sponsored by other companies. They put their money into the event and she fucked them out of it.

They wouldn't dare pay an electric bill to run the AC when they weren't around. It had to have been there for at least two weeks, near dead. We contact administration, they call the police to handle it. Luckily, a very kind officer had opted to take him in and get him back to good health.
As it turns out, a month passes or so, and these bastards came back and were looking for their dog. After being informed that the animal had been abused and was taken into custody by the police, they insisted it was confiscated illegally. If the police hadn't taken their dog, it would have been dead - it's a miracle it wasn't already.
They called the police and kept bitching in attempt to get their dog back. The officer who adopted the dog was fucking pissed, and our generally incompetent police department did the right thing for once, and ended up writing them up on animal cruelty charges. They acted like victims in court, said they didn't understand what was wrong, and that it was just a dog.

In my defence, I'll say that telling a group of people, who are making something all about you, to shut up and fuck off because it isn't about you, is not the same thing as making something all about you, yourself. You can't fight drama without making noise of your own - but the hope is that, should you win, the noise will finally stop. In hindsight, making the purge a big deal may have been a mistake. I did it deliberately so we'd always have a hard line in the sand to point back to. It would keep people from rules-lawyering us to death as the cancerfags so loved to do. But it put some regular people off as well, and I've had enough normal anons tell me that to believe them. Whether it was a net positive or a net loss I'll never know, but if I made a mistake in all that I would suggest that part as the prime candidate.

The only thing that's really changed with me over the year+ running the board is knowing a ton more about what was really going on in the background, and acting accordingly in whatever way I thought would most help the anons who posted there to do their respective things in peace. An independent board, free of outside influence, where anons could do what they wanted as to #GG without being influenced, betrayed, or shilled by cliques. I regret nothing when it comes to that, and I don't feel any different now than I did the way I took the board live.

Now, with a likely-trustworthy party saying they want to take a stab at doing it better? Alright, maybe it'll be time to step down. I'm not about to cling to some chunk of the community and cause a split just to be le epik berd admin XD.
