Part time IT for a local marshal and I'm still a student, I've been investing my earnings and doing pretty well but I'm just getting lucky. My boss and his wife have been incredibly kind to me and pay me almost three times minimum wage here to make up for the irregular hours and lack of benefits. It's not too bad, in fact it's great, but I know that I'm the exception.

this. it feels like law is the only 'professional' option after a humanities degree besides trying for an MBA in business or something. very limited options for me it seems.

i am striving to become a local politician, i want to try to get some sort of funding so that ambitious workers can form worker owned coops which would hopefully revive some of the currently unused factories in the area (i live in the rust belt, sorry)
