I unironically enjoyed Skyrim. I put over 300 hours into it, got every achievement, discovered every location, and completed every non-radiant quest. And I did it on console.
Later, I played Morrowind and Oblivion. I liked them, but still haven't finished their main quests.

if fallout 4 was called 'New Game Title™' it would have been a good game(7/10). if no man's sky had no hype at all it would have been a bad game (3.5-4/10)

I played it on PC, heavily modded into a porn game.

I hated Skyrim and have beaten it twice once on launch and again with GOTY. It is easy and cheesy but still good fun. I mean respawning dungeons? No Stats? It is just an action adventure time waster.

My causal confession is I never beat daggerfall I just made a OP character and did the start dungeon then got bored but that game had the best character creation out of all the TES games.

Skyrim is pretty good with the mods. Not to jack off to but just for a laugh.

I wouldn't say say its good with mods, but I will say that modding the shit out of the game makes it a more bearable time sink. The game itself is unfortunately broken to the conceptual level, meaning nothing short of a total conversion of gameplay, story, everything would make it better, and at that point, you're not really playing Skyrim as much as you are using its engine. Modding the fuck out of it just makes it easier to pass the time with the game.

Honestly, I've never bought into the hype for those games. I know I want it, but what I want feels so specific in this case, that I feel I'd have better luck making it myself. So I've basically had the policy of just assuming they'll be shit and waiting for them to prove otherwise.

I can honestly say that I had some fun with Skyrim, modding it and playing with a x8 enemy spawn multiplier. Every time I replay it the time comes when I just get bored and quit, but compared to all these new abortions that taint vidya, Skyrim almost seems… not that bad?

Nu male's sky put everything into perspective. Of course we're going to shit on a way overhyped game full of blemishes. But at the end of the day it was a game, with content and gameplay. It will never be among the greats, but none can genuinely put it in the hall of shame.

nuDood ran really well, though. Amazingy well. Better than Wolfenstein: The Jew Order on the same hardware and with more graffix. Maybe it's not a problem with Bethesda but that the scrollsfags and failouts need to stop throwing climbable mountains of money at bad games?

And then they're slapped hard in the face by reality, which runs on money and time and you can't just have infinite of both. So when the game finally hits the shelves half the good features are dropped.

The resources minimally provided by Zenimax. Pre-Zenimax Todd was pretty cool, he made terminator games and designed daggerfall. The moment Bethesda's quality really fell was when Christopher Weaver was kicked out of Zenimax by that jew Robert Altman around the time of Morrowind's launch. Chris actually complained about that, but the news went into obscurity.
