There are definite shills trying to play both sides but I argue that the Christian posters are almost always responding to debunked attacks. The last paragraph you wrote is basically asking us not to defend a position that actual Christians hold very dear and that's just not going to happen, we're not a hive mind. Consensus cracking works simply because people like you are claiming that a partisan issue is non partisan, the paganposts around here are mostly driveby baiting or trolling, there's been no real definitive idea of what anyone even really means by "pagan" aside from a few nebulous concepts (honor and so forth).
