It's worth trying and it's relatively easy to get into, you can learn just about everything there is in a few days. It's not like Dwarf Fortress where only the autistic can enjoy it, it just takes a little time to learn it which keeps most run-of-the-mill normalfags away

If you stick with it, it can make for some of the best stories and can get really fun. Unfortunately the 8ch server is pretty much dead now and there's no real replacements. Hippiestation is the nearest thing but that's pretty heavy cancer, you need to be willing to suffer through badmin and shit players.

The game suffers from a few big problems and at least one badmin on every server that ruins the enitire server. Every good round you might have comes with 5 bad rounds in between.

He also genuinely believed that the mods dindu nuffin and that everyone that complained about the mods in greentext stories were actually trying to ruin the round.

Alright if you would spend enough time to figure out what you were looking at instead of just turning it off and deciding it's for autists, you would realize that Dwarf Fortress is actually pretty simple, and everyone grossly exaggerates the difficulty.

Everything in the game follows basic logical paths.
