wouldn't work, and even if it did we'd get some stupid propagandist garbage

if it did get made, you'd only ever play in the streets of London cleaning up after those evil nazis. if you did get a Germany level, you'd be watching Berlin or Dresden burn while a narrator talks about how your character realizes that you deserve this or something

not even a stormweenie here, i'm just saying and you know it's true

Korean war game

Creating all that content and the attention of detail will make it that much more difficult to create for such a niche game. Besides, edgemasters will just play as either side and decide to purpose let the other side's priceless historical artifacts get destroyed.

Could work.

Take a team of men to save paintings and all that. Ignore mission entirely and save lives.

Get some kid some paint and say their doodles were made by Picaso or some other talentless idiot.

Better game:

Shoot journalists and propagandists. Take off, turn around and bomb the CBD.

A grand strategy game that starts you off at 1900. Failing to do what Hitler did typically resulting in catastrophic german defeat.

Flight Crew

You and a group of friends bomb the shit out of the enemies in a WWII bomber. Each fills a different role, bombardier, Navigator, Pilot, and Gunner. You can move about your aircraft, with some difficulty because of the cramped conditions.

Play during night raids, thrilling invasions, and fly your plane back to victory. Plays so that you can do everything right and still lose because your wing gets shot out by AA. Pilot has an important role as you approach your target, navigator has to make sure you're going to bomb the correct area, ect ect

It would be a fun way to have the tension of one of the bomb crews that flew

Not enough games have friendly fire play an important part in the story, usually it's just something that you can do a couple of times before being punished for it

...

How about World War I game, but with niggers and shieet full auto machine guns? Would be cool, right?

Only if you could play as a woman, otherwise it would be bigoted tbh

It's just a game, historical accuracy doesn't matter.

a medieval game that isn't shit

Had an idea for something like this, but the bomber crew would also encounter one the mysterious "foo fighter/foo lights" UFO's of that era.

And on the topic of weird WWII UFO stuff. How about a game based off Operation Highjump?

Just after WWII ended the US sent a massive fleet of Navy vessels down to a cove in Antarctica for "research purposes"

This is actually a cover to fight off the last of the renaming Nazi's in their secluded Antarctic base equipped with alien(?) or just advanced Nazi technology.

I should have posted this in that conspiracy theory inspired game ideas a while back.

Why would you want to play as the losers of the war? Being the NATO-bullied bitch?

You want to play as ZOG/the Muslims instead?

...

Playing as any of the Eastern European nations could be interesting, since it would literally be brother against brother, father against son.

Mudslime detected.

If you started in 1900 you could avoid fucking up WW1 as badly and likely prevent 1917 from going down anyway. No threat of a Communist revolution means no support for the NSDAP.

Easiest way Germany couldn't fuck up WW1 is by asking permission to go through Belgium. That way they wouldn't have Britbongs in the war and could eat France for breakfast.

Or just by ensuring Wilhelm didn't upset the Russians. Just keep the treaty(s) Bismarck worked on going and you've only got a war on one front and even if you don't win that you aren't going to come off as badly in post-war negotiations.

And if you combine both you'll have Franco-Prussian War 2. That would be fucking impossible to lose.

why would you play as commie cocksucker instead? also, russia/serbia are both ruled by east-european jews.

not a mudslime, but have fun living in your third world shithole, slavomir

Learn something faggot:

Wilhelm II's stupidity and the influence of his more aggressive generals fucked up a perfectly winnable situation. Of course WW1 was inevitable in some form or other and Germany was hardly to blame (more than any other European Empire anyway) but their incompetence at playing the diplomatic game is well documented.

A turn-based strategy game take place in 600's. You get to play as various factions including

-Byzantine Empire
-Sassanid Persia
-Rashidun Caliphate
-Frankish kingdom
-Visigoth kingdom
-Anglo-Saxon
-Avars
-And much more

why does every niche FPS have to turn out this way.

they should have stopped being pussies and just busted through France's wall tbh lad.

I don't think you could make a game brutal enough to do the Korean War justice. Everyone goes on about the Battle of Stalingrad being the bloodiest in history when it lasted a good 6 months. During the Korean War? That was just Tuesday. You got something like 2 million casualties, including wounded and captured in the space of 6 months. It was not uncommon for something like 200,000 casualties in the space of a few days during the Korean War. Whole battalions were wiped off the face of the planet, and when I mean wiped out, literally completely gone, units disbanded cause there was no survivors.

A fighting game that has a roster of characters from a diverse array of historical eras. The crux of its story would be that a scientist from the year 100,000 AD is looking for prime DNA to keep his society from collapsing under the threat of de-evolution.

Wouldn't Chivalry Deadliest Warrior meet this to certain extent?

Maybe, but it wouldn't run on DOS.

Maybe some in this thread can help me out. This reminded me or an PC game where you play doing WWII bombing missions.

I remember using a bomb sight to target locations and there might have been a payload selection. Its been a while and I can't remember it clearly.

Any ideas?

...

also your missiles will be the very definition of first generation and will barely work kinda sorta of the time

on the upside you get to fly this

hey did I ever tell you how a missile knows where it is? well it all starts when the missile wants to know where it is and it does that by finding out where it isn't and it uses this to know where it is by finding out where it isn't and subtracting it from where it is or subtracting where it is from where it isn't

Why the hell is this? Tons of games have individual levels themed around ancient mayan shit, nut there are almost zero entire games
