There will always be cheaters when there's a rank/MM system. Trust me I've played MGO. All top ranks were 70% boosters/lagswitchers/56kers. I could easily beat lvl 16/17 people who were playing legit and even outsmart some of the cheaters. Didn't make it past lvl 13 since I didn't play that much, or hosted servers to try and help the community.

In lower ranks one can dominate with bastion simply by switching to sentry and moving around after every kill or two.

Enemies will come and expect you to be where you were when you killed them. The seconds or milliseconds it takes for them to locate you again is more than enough for you to kill them. Ofcourse, against a coordinated team that uses voice chat the tanks will relay your new position to their flankers fairly quickly

Bastion sets up in one place. Then either a Rein or Mercy provide support to it, Rein being more of a match for Bastion since he shouldnt be far from the point in the first placd, while Mercy is able to heal when needed. Then you have your secondary defenses, usually a Trobjorn, or a Symmetra if the map calls for one (like Anubis), or some sniper or Mei. Usually this role is only needed be fulfilled by one or two people, and usually they can handle any flanking paths that the Bastion cannot cover, like Hollywood's leftmost path, and the buildings on the left at Numbani. The remaining team members are a more active defense, usually attackers with a Junkrat, a Lucio sometimes, or a more offensive tank like Zarya, Roadhog, or D.Va. These people shouldn't let the enemy behind them in the first place, and if they do they need to either warn the point defense of it or go after the flanker.

Her balls are more powerful. They phase through Rein's shield and usually knock most 200 HP characters down to half with a body shot.

Problem is she herself is slow, unable to handle close encounters, and you REALLY need to understand your turret placement and how it meshes with your team and any of their turrets works.

I have played competitive since the beginning. I have climbed up from rank 36 to 64 and i have never seen a bastion+reinhard+mercy comp work out well. They always get curbstomped in the first few seconds of the fight. And you know why? Because the enemy team isn´t retarded. They won´t just storm in a straight line into bastions fire. Their flankers will come from behind and you basically have to just look at him and he falls into little pieces. Bastion takes like 50% more damage or something like that if you fire at his backside, which means if someone achieves to flank him and mercy isn´t there, he´s just dead.

I guess, it´s ok from time to time.

It's bretty damn good, though I wouldn't call it quite a MOBA. MOBA games usually take an extremely long time and are usually one-sided. Where DOTA 2 is a slow victory crawl, Battleborn is a constant shift where you can (and often do) win in the very last few minutes. I'd say it's closer to TF2 than any MOBA I've played.

Carrying in overwatch is difficult as it's a team game, but there have been extremely rare exceptions to this rule, namely Taimu and seagull.

I've just played a comp game on Volskaya and we tore them a new asshole, and even though I have less than an hour of playtime with Zarya people complimented me in chat.

If you're not a retard and consistently put shields on teammates taking damage and run into it yourself you can get your charge up fast as fuck. Her main beam fire becomes a beam of fucking death and destruction that puts symmetra's max charged beam to shame in terms of melting tanks. She shits on DVa since her beam just passes through her shield and if DVa decides to open fire instead Zarya can just heal. In addition to all that bullshit she makes Roadhog's hook ineffective if she manages to shield the poor bastard that gets hooked. Apparently Reaper is her counter but that'll work only if she's caught alone, which she never should due to her play style of keeping back, shielding friendlies and barging in when her shield is ready.

Zarya/solder/roadhog are the most consistent heroes with very reliably kits and with no hard counters whatsoever, except maybe roadhog if you face a reaper even then it is not even close to hard counter as you can body shot+melee to kill him.
If you play roadhog then dont stay anywhere near dva unless you have hook and if you happen to be near her try jumping around and behind as her turn speed is shit so she cant land many shots at you.

Out of those 3 heroes, zarya is definitely the easiest to carry with thanks to her gamechanging ult

What does that do?

Animation canceling basically. Once you hear him grunt or notice the little hit marker, immediately bring up the shield then drop it. You skip about half a second as the hammer falls all the way to the left and the small wind-up he has before swinging it to the right - which is also the slower part of the attack it feels. Not to mention you can get lucky and block stray bullets / bombs with it which increases your odds of survival from shitters not in your hammer range if you're not playing on Servers outside of your own region like I am, fuck EU servers

Basically a decent way to boost your DPS as Reinhardt, something you could always use. Not to mention it also gives you a quarter of a second of 360 vision around your ass so its much easier to keep track of where you sent those niggas flying with the swing. Try it out in a skirmish against a wall. Once you hear Rein grunt, bring up the shield. If you did it right you should leave an indent in the wall.

Especially as Reinhardt. If it's a Squishy - read someone that has 300 HP at maximum - and you have charge off cooldown, then by all means go ahead and take a shit on them. But if that Dva is sleeping up on that ledge then ignore her for the entire 6 seconds and just force the payload. You wasted like half of her ult trying to jump and smack the bitch and it accomplished nothing. Basically, as long as it's not a Roadhog, DVa, Reinhardt, Winston, or Zarya get in a better position to charge them and one-shot them. If they are any of those five heroes but their not on the payload / point / have full health then you're better off ignoring them and letting them sleep.

Also another thing I forgot to mention, charge deals damage to Torbs turret. So if there's a level two turret in your line of sight and you can easily charge it without putting yourself in danger - like it was in that situation - go ahead and charge it for a one-shot. If it's a level 3 it's still worth charging it as long as some other shitters are also hitting it since the armor will only bring down your damage to 295 instead of 300. Basically, if there's a turret up next to you and you have charge up, charge it. Faster method of dealing with it than hammering it down. Note that it counts as a solid object and will stop the charge while also allowing you to pin niggers against it. Two in one basically.

I know the defense matrix is pretty annoying as most heroes. It's not that bad as S.76 because you can usually land a helix rocket before they notice you and put it up. She's not really my style, though. I like Tracer a lot. Reminds me of Scout in TF2. High burst damage, good mobility, but fragile as can be.

I main roadhog and d.va is essentially my bane with her easy to use shield. She can negate almost 100% of my damage if she's not shit.

The hook's stun duration is static and starts as soon as the enemy gets hooked. The farther an enemy is, there's a slight increase in the time it takes to pull them in. It's long enough that enemies hooked at or near the hook's max range get out of stun before you can shoot them.

Whole Hog is an entirely synergy based ultimate. Unlike every other ultimate that can change the tide of a game single handedly.

It can really push back a charging team, can clear a point fairly easily and there's fuck all anyone can do about it except for D.va. Even pre-buff D.va could do that.

Every team I've encountered in the past few days has had a D.Va though.

Not to mention just pushing a team off a point is a really minor thing to do when most other ultimates just remove the enemy team altogether

You already have the hook which can drag in targets from 21 meters - which I'm pretty sure everybody can agree is bullshit due to the hitboxes - he doesn't need his ultimate to compliment his close range damage which is fucking ridiculous against most characters as is nor does he need another way to drag in people towards him ; either because they will take a fat dump on him due to having no Armor / shields to speak of and his huge hitboxes or because it has the potential to make him a broken fat fuck.

Whole Hog has a shitload of applications as is, from breaking down Reinhardt and Winston shields, eazily pushing back a charging team, liberating a point / cap which is even more important if the game goes into overtime, forcefully keeping people stuck behind a choke so they can't bum rush forward into better positions - such as the final one on Route 66 if they try to go through the main route - and even deals respectable damage if you're not a retard and start pushing people into cover / high ground. Its spread is so fucking wide it's literally impossible to miss as well.
