I personally believe that if glyposate suddenly disappeared from the world, we'd see only a tiny dent in the problem, because every single day we are eating (trace amounts) and covering our bodies (huge amounts) with chemicals whose entire purpose is to help move things where they normally wouldn't go. If you generally care about glyphosate, you need to also take a good hard look at your dish soap, shampoo, laundry detergents, etc. And don't think "organic" food is going to help you unless they tell you exactly what was put on it. And I do mean exactly.

One big cause of colon cancer and poor health in general besides the low quality of the foods we have access to these days, is the omission of foods that are good for our gut flora.

What is gut flora? It's basically just a bunch of bacteria that chill out in you gut, aka you colon. If your bacterial colonies are good then the bacteria there will constantly be synthesizing vitamins for you, anti-inflammatory chemicals, and a whole bunch of good stuff that keeps you healthy and keeps your risk for colon cancer very low.

On the other hand, if your diet is missing these few key things that our gut bacteria like to eat then your risk for bad stuff happening goes up quite a bit. Those few key things are

1) Resistant Starch
2) Inulin

What are they? They are just fancy names for fibers naturally found in certain foods. Our body really likes when you eat them, and most people don't get much of either anymore. Where is resistant starch found? Resistant starch is found in any starchy food that has been cooked and allowed to cool down - basically leftovers. Leftover potatoes, leftover rice, and even bread has some (but I can't recommend eating modern wheat). This process of cooling down allows the starch granules in the food to change slightly, or to retrograde into resistant starch. Look into this - it's been a huge breakthrough and you should know about it.
What about Inulin? It's just another fiber found in some foods that is thankfully much easier to explain. It's a fiber found in onions, green onions/scallions, garlic, and leeks (and perhaps some others). This fiber feeds one very important bacteria in our gut called akkermansia which is basically our guts defender. So eat up on these foods.

A couple of other risk factors I can think of right off the top of my head

1) Low carb diets - very bad for you. For more reasons than I want to get into right now, however I will point you in the right direction

I just gave this a try using a small box and I have to say it really does work. I was skeptical, I really was - but not anymore.

Depending on intensity levels, your body will cut anything it can to get some glucose. Try sprinting or even jogging uphill when your glycogen reserves are nearing depletion and your body will degrade protein and anything else it can to quickly get energy. No fatty acids in your body will ever match that energy demand when the exertion is heavy enough.

I am still trying to find the answer to this myself user, but you might consider giving Rye a shot. Apparently certain European populations used to use Rye as their only grain anyways, so you might be genetically suited to it, something to look in to at any rate.
