Its a theory of mine piecing together the timeline of Trumps ME policy. Basically Trump cannot go over Mattis / McMasters head on military issues because he is "just a business man" and they are the "best" generals. If Trump did it would guarantee a huge PR disaster and may even be a legitimate excuse for impeachment. The kikes are trying to reignite all these middle east fires and Trump is going along with it but keeping a close eye on things.

The first month Trump was in office he stated he was giving Mattis 1 month to come up with a plan to defeat ISIS. He made Mattis write out a specific game plan that he is to follow, he didn't give him full authority to do whatever the fuck he wanted.

After Trump deployed more troops to Afghanistan he announced he is putting a cap on the amount of troops going over there and in Somalia not even a month later.

Very recently Trump held private meetings with soldiers of the Afghan war to ask their opinions on what he should do there which is a huge flag that he doesn't trust the intel he is getting from Mattis and maybe further down the road if he does pull out of Afghanistan he can say the troops on the ground didn't think it was a good idea.

The airstrike on that Syrian base was bullshit intel and probably a compromise from Trump that since there was chemical weapons said to be there he would only bomb the area where the chemicals were. If it were any other president that whole airbase and probably a bunch of other targets would have been taken out.

Basically Trump is giving Mattis rope to hang himself by either failing at his own stated mission or be successful which would mean doing things Israel doesn't like.
