What is most ironic about this man is that he was able to transcend his problems as a man who dealt with being treated like crap by others. Instead of sublimating it away or letting it boil into hatred of white people, even though he fought against the French in the ALN, he turned it into something that created a huge worldwide movement that did create a new reality.
