My translation has a foreword by (((Abraham Foxman))). That foreword was literally the mother of all redpills for me, when he described post-WWII events as part of a (((civilizing trend))). Of course, anybody who thinks these current events are civilizing in any way is either a useful idiot or a Zionist. The translation seemed faithful. Quite honestly I'm not sure why translation versions are worth nitpicking over, as long as they don't have any redactions, they should be fine.

Realizations that you should have after reading Mein Kampf (though not limited exclusively to these) are: Hitler memed "bullets for traitors first," Hitler predicted the current EU crisis, the basic machinations of all propaganda, the parasitic cycle of international Jewry, organizations fighting against (((democracy))) should nlt be democratic in nature, etc. Literally the first 2/3 of the book is nothing but redpills. If you're not getting blown away, then your copy is insufficient.

If you want to know which "version" is the best you need to review it for yourself. Compare parts of the each translation and decide which is the best one. The "Stalag" edition was never an authorized version of the text, as much as Holla Forums thinks it was, the "story" is that it was translated by an unknown German solider to distribute to the British POWs. It has been reproduced with all the mistakes that were originally in the text, which is fucking retarded when you're trying to read a translated text, and especially one that is very important to understand.

I read the Mannheim edition and thought it was an all right translation, but it had it's flaws, all of the translations do, some are incredibly destructive to the text itself, while others are mistakes that could be fixed quickly. The best part of Mannheim's edition is that it has footnotes to give you an idea of what Hitler was talking about, since he references things nobody would have a clue about since we didn't live in that time and weren't as close to the things he was referencing, and it makes it easier to look those things up yourself as well.

The Ford translation is something I will stay away from myself, since he was self-published by some guy who won't give up his credentials to be judged by the public. He simply published a version of the text that is his own, and it has been attacked online in many places as the others have, but pretty much everybody online says that the Mannheim edition is the best edition.

The way he describes the "social democrat" party could easily be read as if it was written yesterday. Same goes for the general character of the people during those times.

I really think alot of it has to do with IQ level. When he talks about making effective propaganda, he says that it never works on artists or intellectuals because they require nuanced two sided arguments, while the general population just wants clear cut guidance.
