Borderlands 2 I enjoyed a bit more than the original in some ways because it was faster paced and it had a PC port that wasn't shit with adjustable FoVs.
But the game was let down by horrible writing, focusing on being a generic resistance "fight da powa" story instead of it being just you and 4 other people exploring a hostile wasteland in the hopes for treasure, and the devs are the biggest retards on the face of the planet. I say that because around the time of the game's release, people could easily exploit special items into the game by editing a text file I think, and the devs freaked the fuck out acting like they made an MMO instead of what it is, a single player game you can play co op.

Borderlands 2 was not as bad, even if it was a very flawed entry in the series and left many fans disappointed and uneasy about a sequel.

I really like the game too. Some of the humor and spoken dialog are cringeworthy but everything else about the game is really great. I wouldn't have ever bought it at full price but it was definatley worth that 15 dollars price it was in the humble bundle. Benedict and Montana are my favorite characters to play as so far.

I got it in that Humble Bundle, so, a huge discount. The one thing I must say I find interesting is small, but I missed it in FPS games: You can see your body, feet and stuff. That's really rare nowadays.
