God tier Vidya Cartoons/anime

This is the first thing that came to mind for me. I really enjoyed these.

I actually enjoyed .hack/sign even though it was really talky. Was really comfy and atmospheric though, and that fucking end theme.

I plan buying the Blu-ray, it's supposed to have a shit ton of extra features, including every version of the cheesy dub

I had such a hard time watching II V because of the radically different character designs. What's weird is that the same staff that worked on the anime movie also made the series, why they couldn't use the same designs from the games/movies was weird.

Kirby of the stars was actually a lot of fun. It's probably one of the better vidya TV shows. There are also a handful of games that got short OVAs. Some examples:

I agree with you. It was really solid apart from the censorship that it got, but even then it wasn't as bad as other 4kids shows. I still like the English opening more than the Japanese one.

Yea most people actually forget that there's a jap dub of this which is kinda funny, and of course the opening and Dedede honestly make the english dub better then the jap dub.

I always found it odd that Meta Knight was Spanish. It sort of worked now that I thin about it.

The cartoon was great. Link being a womaniser was a great characterisation and Zelda being competent and sassy was cool too.

An animation so good it spawned the Alpha series. They even included the Ryu and Ken versus Bison team match as a special mode in the console version of Alpha 3.

To add my own, Captain N has to be the best. It was basically a cartoon commercial for Nintendo at the time, like so many kids shows are, but the creators managed to get third party characters involved and it was just this adorable mess of WTF that you have to admire it for being so bizarre. And the cross-over episodes with the Zelda cartoon were the best. And the Samus episodes too, except Kevin made the wrong choice and chose Princess Whatsherface instead.

Dude Spanish meta knight it's some what canon due to his smash voice actor give him a similar flair but not to the extent of the the show.

Shit, I forgot about that. Weird how 4kids influenced canon. To be honest, of all the bad things about 4kids, their voice actors weren't always that bad. They can emote a lot better than Funimations shitty dubbers for example.

Not exactly god-tier but I liked the DMC anime, it was basically like what an average day for Dante when his job is lower tier demons as opposed to the world-destroying class he goes up against in the games.

Yes, the video is uncut, but it's obvious Youtube upload is taken from the European DVD/Bluray remaster which has the uncut footage but for some retarded reason uses the censored version of the dub.

It was okay, but there was a lot of episodes that did nothing to advance the plot, and they really squandered a few of the villains. That entire gambit that led to Blood Falcon's creation started looking pointless when all they did with him was have him die repeatedly in every episode he showed up in. Even when he actually got his reactor might, the end of that episode whisked him and Captain Falcon off to the realm of Offscreen Resolution and the only mention of what happened there came in one of the final episodes, where it's mentioned offhand that Blood Falcon was beaten and the Captain got the reactor might from him.

Don Genie and Deathborn were similarly squandered. They started off as new villains, then were revealed to be Black Shadow's allies, and then finally revealed to not only be the same person, but they were also just an extension of Black Shadow's power.

That was just dumb. It's like they ran out of time to feature them any further, so they just wrote them out to cut off any loos ends.

The finale was still pretty fucking great, though, and the episodes that actually advanced the plot or introduced recurring characters were good.

I think the thing that was the worst about it was that he was also the Highschools baseball coach on top of being the art teacher. Him leaving really hit the school hard. Everybody loved except for a few bitches.
I remember during class one day he used Comix Zone as an example during one of his lessons. I don't know if anyone ever had a cooler art teacher than I did.

I just remember being really confused that he loves Animaniacs, but hates the Sonic cartoon. As far as I'm concerned they're both wacky, so why praise one show for it and criticize another show for the same reason?
I did like SatAM, but I hated most of the redesigns of the second half of the show. (Not sure if NC mentioned that or not in the review. I'm not bothering to re-watch it.) I remember it had something to do with the Archie comics, but I still didn't like it.

4Kids wasn't good, but they weren't as bad as people made them out to be. Sure, the censorship and line-changing was bad, but the music and voice acting was better than the other shitty dubbing companies.
For example, compare the old Ash to new Ash. The difference is almost night and day. Veronica Taylor clearly put effort into the role, and you could tell Ash would get emotional if something was wrong. (ie, Pikachu getting hurt) On the other hand, you can't tell what Ash is feeling when Sara Natochenny started voicing him. Just sounds like she wanted to get a line out, get her paycheck, and fuck off for the day.

Sad thing is that Veronica would still like to voice Ash again, but Pokemon Company would rather use their own awful voice actors. (Though to be fair, I'm not sure if her coming back would be enough for me to watch the show again.)
