What is a soul? Imagine a drawn square on a piece of paper. In one corner is you when you are infantile. The next corner is you in adolescence, the next is you middle aged, and the next is you as an elderly person. So your life is like a square, (as a rough metaphor), and you experience each corner at a time.
Each corner makes up the entirety of a square. The square that you call your "life" is only one face of (in keeping with the geometric analogy) a cube. What you perceive as merely two dimensional is in fact multi-dimensional.
This is what gives your life "meaning." Changing a face from a square to something else changes the larger structure. The whole structure that is "you" (and not just this body on this earth) continues to shift, infinitely. There is "nothing else" for the universe to do, but to provide you, the soul, with outlets to truly express and shape yourself.
As souls continue to "shape" themselves, they associate with others like them, to be part of or create different things. If you're a brick, and I am a brick, why not create a cosmic brick wall? In death, you are only a timeless expression of what you shaped yourself to be. The bricks in the brick wall pride themselves in being such. They are ecstatic that they built themselves in such a way. That is their expression, and they will remain that timeless expression for (possibly) the length of a universes life. The universe is a "universe of association." so to speak.
Death is merely a static breaker. When the universe itself dies, the entirety of gods kingdom collapses on itself, only to rebound again in "the big bang." The length of the universe's lifespan is very long. Those who wish to be the brick wall again will quickly rebuild themselves as such and remain so for what is a very, very long time. The point of universal death is to merely shake things up so that some bricks are rattled out of their stupor and might rebuild themselves as something different. This is only a small intrusion on the part of "the light.", or god, considering that the lifespan of a universe can last for what a human would call "an eternity."
The problem of organized religion is that it turns the act of existence into a zero sum game of fear. "If you do not believe in such, you will be damned and tortured, or otherwise not given life." Even pieces of shit are given life.
The role of god is like a cosmic government. Since this is a "universe of association", there will be certain souls who are repulsed by others, and would not wish to "associate" with them any further. "The judgement of god" is not an arbitrary criticism of what you made of yourself. As a cosmic government, god judges the bricks as bricks, and as such, allows them to clump together. Without this governing role, all sorts of shapes may wish to "intrude" onto others, reap their work, and so on. The judgement of god is merely a universal order, to allow things that grow the chance to grow.
Another problem of organized religion is that it separates "evil" from "god" and frames it as a combative enemy. Is god all powerful or not? Does god wish to destroy evil, or is he content with allowing it to exist? God is only the cosmic platform. To "snub out" evil is to impose a one sided view on everything. Evil is given life too. But when evil is paired with itself upon death (by the judgement of god), it finds itself in a problematic situation, as it forms poor, uncooperative structures within itself. So while a cosmic wall may be majestic, at its feet there may lay cosmic gravel, living in its own expression of what it chose to be, uncooperative and fragmented.
In understanding the concept of "a universe of association", it is easy to recognize what the juden soul is. If a soul is like a three dimensional cube, the satanic soul is concerned only with the particular two dimensional face it finds itself experiencing. When even more degenerate, the satanic soul might find itself concerned with a single corner of the face of the square that represents its life. An example of this would be abusing drugs at one point in your life - to the detriment of the rest of your life. Not only is the entire shape of your soul compromised, even the particular face is ruined. Not even the particular corners are in good order. This is peak degeneracy, and what souls of destitute and worthlessness do to themselves.
A soul that clamps itself shut upon death - either fearing the judgement of god, or wishing to not exist, finds itself in darkness. This can be restful and contemplative - a time to heal. Or it can be purgatory. Some souls seek "true death", and it cannot be said where they go, once they deconstruct themselves to the point where they are not even corners on a two dimensional shape. God does not impose a view and is not a jailer - to be so would create an intrinsically useless and futile universe - a feeling that is inherently distressing for souls to contemplate.
