Anyone else a fan of historically accurate construction and reconstruction? Wish there was more of it going on in the US, on a smaller scale than Guedelon of course
if that fucking E3 twitch streamer thread is board-appropriate I don't see any reason this shouldn't be
Of course i'm a fan, we need to take back our architecture from (((brutalism))) and other such degeneracy. Everything after Art Deco was a mistake.
Christian Perez
What does this have to do with securing our race's existence?
Brayden Russell
by making it worth doing
Zachary Baker
Are you reconstructing a castle that will inspire White men to take up arms against our racial enemies?
Samuel Scott
Make America Art Deco again
Juan Torres
Art, music, and architecture are expressions of the racial soul. Each race developed its own distinct forms of each before (((modernism)) wiped them all out.
Benjamin Long
Our Colonial vernacular styles are really beautiful. Georgian is really nice too, pretty underrated too. Simple and elegant
Gabriel Price
Irishman here. Big houses built during British rule seem to be dwindling in number as more and more get eaten by fire and disrepair. The Irish public don't seem to care when an old Georgian house falls over or gets paved to build another set of empty housing estates. I guess they think that it's just remnants of the time before independence but goddamnit a lot of these houses have serious historic value.
Jaxon King
I am a fan too, but it is a mistake to stay in the past versions of the technique instead looking into the new frontiers of the art of building. We have the 3D printing thing now, full of cucks and libshits who dream about living in plastic homes who know shit about building anything but plastic renders that they put in the printers as the material they like without regard of the feasibility of the structure (example: 3d printing concrete without rebar shear walls, pic related). We have the naval/military systems of structures. There are all the utopian cities to pack humans in high rise cells.
Historically accurate construction is nice, for archival and evolution of the tech and art. I am using the wide definition of art as a hightened level of tech proficiency. You can´t reach it if you stay in the past, also it is dangerous for it´s (future) inhabitants.
Dylan Edwards
That is very true. But we are in the middle of a war for our existence against an implacable, evil enemy that is hell bent on our complete extermination and genocide. Asking if Holla Forums likes old buildings is irrelevant. Of course I love European architecture. I love European culture. I love my race. But this board is already jam-packed with irrelevant threads on irrelevant topics and almost no one is talking about anything productive. We need to DO something. We need to be encouraging each other to go out and poster our entire city, town, or village. We need to be sharing information that will aid in the destruction of our racial enemies and the exposing of the corrupt psychopaths that rule this country from atop a house of cards.
Easton Gomez
I like the idea of building monuments on the graves of those who tried to destroy our culture.
To be honest I really don't care for most of Albert Speer's designs.
Everything should be made beautiful
Mason Cruz

I like the simple forms of the old churches. Early Carolingian buildings are about as ritzy as I like. Structurally very simple but sometimes filled with intricate artwork. Not that there's anything wrong with Gothic, of course.
Cameron Nelson
You call that colonial architecture? Very pretty, but also a bit rustic and small in scope.
Jace Ortiz
I have badgered people incessantly about getting more active on Twitter. I reached a point where almost everyone serious about White nationalism on Twitter got a tweet fro me and dozens of people reached out and downloaded posters from me and received advice for effective propaganda dissemination.
Unfortunately, Holla Forums is more dominated by shills and Jews than Twitter! Threads that encourage activism are regularly shut down and for whatever reason, I detect a weird lack of interest in actually DOING something good for our race here. Instead, people like to talk about things, complain about current events, and then pontificate about how "pure" they are compared to evil, loathsome, diabolical, hateful, do nothings like David Duke or Richard Spencer. And yes, this is the Jews' fault. They are responsible for the demoralization of Holla Forums/pol/. But it is also our own fault because we were easily misled and demoralized by our enemy.
Joshua Hernandez
underrated tastes mate
we weren't a feudalistic society in the US (at least until later in the South), so those are homes mostly built for and by the people that lived in them. Also I was deliberately showing early styles, the church and the house on the left are from the 17th century, while the house in the middle is from the early-18th and represents a German vernacular that has almost no other remaining. There's some pretty grand examples of Georgian mansions and public buildings from the 18th century remaining
John Garcia
Hmm. I think I need to rephrase some sentences before I am gassed by the grammar Nazis. By this I do not mean getting more active on Twitter. I mean I use Twitter to share advice with others to get more active IRL.
Missing "m" aside, by this I meant not that I talked to everyone on Twitter or even everyone who had nationalist political leanings but I mean that there were few more things I needed to say to those few people who were both serious about White nationalism and intelligent enough to be open to new ideas.
By this I meant that Holla Forums is concentrated (or *should* be concentrated) White nationalism. And yet it is dominated by shills and Jews. Yet the White nationalist "sections" of Twitter are comparatively less dominated by Jews and shills. I am not saying Twitter is not dominated by Jews, race traitors, leftists, and most of all; lemmings.
Jaxon Lewis

Sure, no, there's other factors too, the Spanish conquer the Aztecs and get a city with at least 100,000 inhabitants in 1521, imagine how long it took for something up North to be that big. I was trying to comment more on how the Spanish (and to a degree French) colonial styles are more on the loaded side compared to, rather than shit on the Anglo or Germanic one.
Noah Wood
Don't compare David Duke and William Pierce to Richard Spencer and his notorious jew Mike Enoch.
Dylan Evans
I think it's very important we hold on to our culture and history. We have to fight becoming a brown amalgamed soup of shit. If you could do something the way your ancestors did, or are able to experience it, it would help you feel a strong connection and pride.
Jaxson Carter
Amalgamated. Fucking phone
Chase Robinson
What are they going to do rebuild houses from the 50's?
Hunter Sanchez
The will of the european races was crushed decades ago, making it possible to get away with the multicultural agenda we see today. If a way can't be found to inspire them again white people will go the way of the dynastic egyptians no matter what happens in the short term. The ruins of their cities will be picked over hundreds of years from now by chinese archaeologists.
Robert King
I don't doubt you're stupid enough to believe that
a good bit of Williamsburg is a reconstruction. The Governor's Mansion here on the left is a reconstruction, the original burnt down around 1810 or so. Jamestown has some reconstruction, including the church here; only the tower remained the rest is a reproduction largely based off of St. Luke's church nearby
Tyler Carter
The church is nice but I think it should've just been a replica built elsewhere rather than interfering with the local ruins. Jamestown and Williamsburg had tremendous amounts of questionable tampering going on during their "restorations", probably doing
Winston-Salem in NC is nice if anyone is into German architecture. The structures are all original, though it runs into the Ship of Theseus question, as they were very heavily restored in the past
Owen Clark
...
Aaron Nguyen
Winston-Salem, NC has some of the few remaining examples of exposed Timber-frame construction in the US. Pennsylvania used to have quite a lot more of these but they were abandoned or torn down largely during the 19th century.
This is my favorite and is my own goal for construction
Julian Rogers
Golden Plough on left, Ephrata cloisters on right. It makes so much more sense to use clapboard, but it just doesn't look nice enough

The roofs of the last two are like that because of the tax code of the time. Attics were defined as any space between the sides of the roof, and attics were not charged as part of property taxes.
Henry Hernandez
Got a bunch of land on which to do something like that. But actually getting the stone is such a pain in the arse. One day.
Anthony Evans
if it doesn't help defend you from chimpenings, cops, etc., probably nothing

Neat, I'm saving up for a property to do it on, I've been building a brick stockpile since last summer and already have a few wooden beams. Got any clay where you are?

I like older Europe home construction, like proper Tudor or Fachwerk. But I think if someone wants to showcase they'd do better from being in that country and having seen it more extensively in person than I have
PA stone construction techniques are nice, and this style of home is actually very common in the area. One can still find homes of these style, not quite as old, abandoned or under-maintained and get a good deal on them. The barn came with the description that it is "Lake district style" despite being widely adopted by German settler, I do know the stone style originates in Chester county among settlers mostly from Yorkshire. The two regions being close to each other but I still don't quite know their architectural antecedents
Easton Rogers
I hate the look of newer McMansion houses that have been springing up like weeds for the last 20 years. Ranch houses as far as the eye can see were bad enough but these eyesores. I look around and I see these beautiful old houses in older city suburbs now overrun with niggers. They're all rotting away from neglect and decades of chimping. Cities tear down beautiful old commercial buildings and put up heaps of concrete or, steel and glass monstrosities. It makes me so angry and most people don't notice or care.
On a lighter note what home style do you all like? I'm partial to craftsmen.
Caleb Miller
I grew up in a "craftsmen" bungalow in an old suburb. Our old suburbs, I mean actual suburbs not those new ones, are a pretty underrated experience. While on the edge of a large negro ghetto and dilapidated former industrial city I still had a much more active community and neighborhood social circle than most people windup with whose families have been running from further and further nigger encroachment since the 1950s.
The houses were decent and while 1870-1920 construction techniques and styles aren't my favorite there was some genuinely well done "Tudor" revival. I think a movement to reclaim smaller northeastern cities and their suburbs from their current inhabitants would be nice but I've already seen three waves of that fail in my own lifetime, it's also not quite what I'm interested in
there's some nice Tudor-style houses too, though they've that Royal Barry Wills-esque floorplan, obviously before him though, that's jarring
Chase Rodriguez
Get your own culture.
Easton Gray
check ID, with the exception of Guedelon in the OP I've been posting historic American structures, only the last of which has been a "revival"-type design, and revival of a style predating European settlement in N. America. Or are you going to tell me those are all copies of European styles and Americans have no claim to them?
Brody Reyes
We are in the middle of a genocide. Do you think the Soviet Union defeated the Glorious Reich by reconstructing European architecture? No. They devoted every ounce of strength to defeating their enemy. Even if you built a castle, it wouldn't have any effect on anything. The lemmings would remain terrified of being called "racist" for wanting to exist.
This is true and not a day goes by that I don't ponder how to get White people thinking tribally again. But we do not have the means to reconstruct old buildings. We are mostly working class males of limited means. And even if we could build castles out of our own funds, there are far more important things that need funding ATM.
You're doing God's work, user. There actually once was an attempt to "organize" Holla Forums into an IRL organization. Unfortunately… well it fell apart due to ego and laziness. I also agree with you about the Alt-right. The reason the Jews hill our boards so much is because they want Holla Forumsacks to stay on the internet. Heh. That reminds me of this William Pierce broadcast that I wish more people listened to. He talks about anonymous image board culture in this piece, "Storm Break Loose." It's as if he is speaking to us.
I cannot stand Attomwaffen Division and I hate Andrew Anglin for a few reasons. Everyone I've met from AWD have been arrogant, self absorbed talkers who are not team players and for that I have developed a string dislike of their group. I also hate Anglin because of his weird obsession with White Sharia. (I like Iron March though) However, they have my complete support for actually DOING something. They're organizing, reaching out, and changing the world. Good! Huzzah! The Jews who shill this board HATE that so much. And I want them to develop ulcers and migraines just thinking about how much damage they are doing to (((their))) disgusting, evil, and psychotic New World Order plans.
Anyway, thankyou on behalf of my organization for the work you're doing for your race. Keep up the good work. I just got back from a fly-posting run myself and I am tired but pleased with the work I have done. I'm sure you know the feeling.
Before us lies our ancestors, within us lies our heritage, and after us comes our People's future.

Thats all fine and good for you guys on the east coast but everyone west of you has almost no building older then 100 years
Michael Thompson
the issue with using Holla Forums as a place to organize is that you may meet some people that agree with you and want to work together, but never will you get a large chunk of the board to be able to agree with you 100%. In that case you should move your communication to some other more direct medium as a soon as possible or else you're doomed to run into the same problems. Anonymity goes hand and hand with a sense of irresponsibility. Holla Forums is not a solid white nationalist community, and it never was. I've been around here for a pretty long time and frequented WN forums before that and have seen a clear pattern that really bugs me.
It's kind of lethargic and terrifying to try and struggle to make actual connections to people here. I've learned that it isn't the best place for it. To get them to commit to anything is like herding cats. It's a fine place for a decent discussion if you can peak the right peoples' interests
Nolan Anderson
These buildings just gave me eye cancer.
Benjamin Cruz
that does suck, California has those missions for whatever that is worth.
But to compare certain places out west having cheaper land, more availability of resources, especially wood in which to build such structures. If I were more willing to purchase a property west of the Appalachians I could've bought a decent one in cash a while back. As it stands and my preference for staying in a region my family has been in for generations makes me have to pay easily thrice that I'd pay out there.
Building some of this stuff on a small scale, at least what I've posted isn't out of the realm of possibility for a single person, given the right equipment. I've done barn restoration and construction and with a group of hardworking people it isn't hard at all.
Kayden Gutierrez
Tonnes, but not what i'm going for (in the preliminary structure). Sandstone is the best thing around here, but it ain't cheap, so it's slow going.
Oliver Rogers
You're absolutely right. I agree with you and never intended to imply that I thought Holla Forums *should* organize itself. What I'd love to see is more people who frequent here actually getting active in their area though. That is what I mean.
Leo Carter
You've got style like a dickhead.
Jonathan King
You made that?
Joshua Clark
I was actually just watching videos about the Guedelon recently. Pretty neat stuff.
I wish Holla Forums could organize a project like this. We could make money from donations and tourists and we'd end up with our own awesome clubhouse when it's done

Guedelon is really cool, I've a lot of respect for the workers there. People don't seem to quite understand in this thread that I'm implying personal hobbyist projects or larger scale private projects. Guedelon is privately funded. I'm not advocating some Socialist government that builds fake castles ad infinitum. I'm sure you're aware but a splinter of that group tried building something similar in the Ozarks. It fell through, and was not following proper methods in the first place though.
An historically accurate castle constructed in the US may be neat but I'd still be on the fence about it, people wanting to learn about castles may do better learning about them in the context of their existence, Europe. Smaller scale projects seem much more appropriate to me in N. America. My own interest in exposed timber framing construction techniques, German in particular, comes out of my own research on the subject, in particular in the mid-states region, and that no examples exist anymore but are historically attributed, photographic images exist and there are still approximates or relatives existing elsewhere

Btw that Cathedral is somewhere in the Somme, it survived both world wars and their excuse for tearing it down was that "it was too expensive to repair"
Jordan Hughes
It's a tragedy beyond words, but I guess thankfully it's ONLY a 19th century building, and not a medieval cathedral, but seeing how fast we're going down the slippery slope, they're not far behind.
That chateau is being demolished as we speak, and in it's place a building will be erected that is so ugly it defies belief, it's ugliness and lack of spirit is almost a marvel of modern engineering in itself, but certainly there is no shortage of money there …

There was, there's plenty around New York state. They all suck in my opinion, very tacky. Conspicuous consumption, at least by any classical standard, is really, really out of style. There's a few roughly contemporaneous castle-like mansions around eastern PA that I prefer and that have more interesting construction methods put into them
Jonathan Hall
While you make a fair argument, I must point out; What effect do you think those buildings had upon the war?
And a more important point is the fact that we have no money to spare. Let's say we reconstructed Versailles in Washington DC. That would be pretty neat. How would it stop White genocide? I simply do not see how building a building we cannot build would have much effect when we lack political power.
