DACA isn't a legal status. Dreamers can already be deported. The big problem is that DACA handed out legal work permits for the 800,000. (They're going to expire within 2 years. )

You can say "okay all dreamers to be deported." and they can still hand their employers a valid work permit until that permit expires. Revoking DACA does nothing but throw away ICE's initiative and ability to be stealth, and create high-emotion normie propaganda. There's no functional victory in doing it.

There's no better way than leaving DACA in place so as not to tip them off, let work permits expire, and deporting dreamers.

Really all Trump needs to do is crack down on some highly visible employers of wetbacks, implement a bill that would punish employers of illegals, and make sure ICE deportations stories get coverage every other week. Of course the wall still has to be built to keep them out permanently, but at least we don't have to spend too much on removing them in the first place.

There's no point at all in rescinding DACA. It has no legal power. It's basically a letter of intent to not prosecute (using a bizarre and novel concept of prosecutorial discretion.)

Rescinding it basically says " okay I'm going to start rounding you up now; go ahead and hide out in churches and schools."

Tactically it does nothing. It's actually counter-productive. The only upside to rescinding is that it builds morale. But that's not worth doing if it makes the base feel good, BUT mexicans escape. (The morale will go up anyway once more dreamers get deported.)

The question is: how long can you hide your intent to deport dreamers so that they are blindsided? You can do this until it's time to issue new work permits. Right now Obama's and Trump's permits issued are in the same time period, so nobody knows what Trump has done. When it's time for new ones, the cat will be out of the bag though and that's when you rescind DACA just for the FU of it.

Trump's victory has without question helped bring Nationalism further into the mainstream, and I'm glad he won and not Hillary. But now is not the time to compromise or the pendulum will swing back left. DACA must be ended, and then we must move onto removing all spics, then all non-whites until at least we have re-established a white American ethnostate. If Trump cannot fulfill this then we must support somebody who can.

Except that isn't how it would go down. Look at his travel ban. He has complete constitutional authority to do it but several different courts across the US struck it down for "being unconstitutional". DAPA and DACA are subject to different levels of DP based on the effected classes. DAPA might harm the US citizen children's rights by deporting their illegal parents. DACA essentially gave out licenses/permits to aliens who applied and no citizens are implicitly effected.

Thus DAPA is actually harder to get rid of because citizens have stronger due process rights and at no point does DAPA really "end." With DACA, the executive just stops handing out new permits and lets the old ones expire. Then, once no on has a right that would be effected, you kill DACA.

So killing DAPA now is a strategic move because the last time the Court ruled on DAPA it was split 4-4 (dead Scalia). Trump's daring them to take it, assuming he wins whether they do or they don't. He's forcing the issue. DACA will die in it's own time. There's no need to create a bureaucracy to handle the due process requirements of revoking the DACA permits in the meantime.

Of course the administration should use the best tool for the job, if there are certain illegals that wont ever leave on their own then send in ICE. But in the long term the more viable strategy is making it financially impossible for illegals to live by their own means, and incredibly risky/expensive for anyone trying to help them stay here. We want a situation where pablo's only options are to go back, or stay and starve in hiding, solving the problem either way.

It should be obvious Trump is waiting for the 8-0 victory on the "Travel Ban" at the Supreme Court before he ends the Dreamers shit so he doesn't have to deal with the same bullshit.

Some proof of this would be all the crowing Kikes did for months over Trump deporting Dreamers, but now that he removed DAPA, suddenly we are to believe Trump actually supports DACA because it wasn't ended at the same time. The reason he was able to smoothly end DAPA was because it hadn't gone into effect yet. DACA has been running for a couple years which means litigates and lawyers will rush to challenge it.

DAPA wasn't legally unborn, it was in the Schrodinger's cat legal hell that is a SC decision without a majority. So, whoever sued initially had standing. That doesn't happen if no one was effected. The statement the administration released basically said, "we don't think we need to relitigate this, especially with /ourguy/ as tiebreaker, so we're gonna call it dead now." But there could be kids out there effected if the stay on enforcement kept their parents in the US. So even if the EO is a zombie, cutting off it's head might injure some citizens.

Thus, the Court's welcome to open the box, but the cat's dead anyway.

Didn't Trump take office the third week of January? I could see Obama (or his remaining people) signing off on a massive pile of DACA applications as an outgoing fuck you. Much like what happened with Reality Winner.

DACA is also a bureaucracy at this point. Who knows how much power Trump had over those particular applications? He's spent his first few months going full bore against the administrative state, but it's a behemoth Obama shot with steroids. He also has legal counsel that probably knows about the rights of DACA applicants at each stage of the process. That's really a black box to us, because those are administrative rules and regulations. And yes, Trump is obligated to follow them to a certain extent. Especially for people mid-process. So even if he signed off on the applicants at the end of the day, it could have been for legal reasons such as avoiding suit.

However, now DAPA is actually dead and Trump's demonstrated that he's paying attention to or at least trying to control this area. I think it's fair to give him shit over this summer's numbers.

Impossible, Ginsberg and the "wise latina" don't give a flying fuck about the constitution and rule strictly on party lines. A 7-2 is the best possible scenario but it'll most likely end 5-4 in our favor.

There's already been complaints from illegals' advocacy groups that DACA isn't protecting them from deportation when they commit crimes. Which is probably why he's concentrating on them first.

There's actually not even enough ICE agents to even enforce the current deportation orders so they've been needing to go through a big hiring spree and are still trying to get the camps setup to put people in.

It's also important to remember that DACA just means their deportation is deferred, not that it's stopped completely.

I'm not sure he cares that much about really fighting the travel ban beyond how he has already. That it's gotten so much trouble and so publicly has shown a lot of the public just how ridiculous the liberal courts are and has focused Democrats attention onto it.

The Democrats are trying to focus on attacking anything Trump does, but that usually means focusing in on one issue at a time. Trump meanwhile is trying to do a whole slew of things at once which creates a chaotic environment which confuses the Democrats so they don't know quite what to do.

Like the travel ban is technically stalled, but yet the DHS was still able to decrease the immigration from those countries by more than 50% just be virtue of the executive branch's ability to adjust their policies regarding vetting. The Democrats were only poised to try and stop the "travel ban", not the more complicated bureaucracy of government agencies which many of them probably don't even realize is occurring.

Trump also is doing things like announcing his desire to expand apprenticeship programs, which has to also confuse Democrats as they feel the need to attack everything he does so they're needing to come up with ways to say even that's bad.

I'm being optimistic and assuming this is going to be the case. Trump seems to be walking a tightrope and is doing his best to get his policies done without much fanfare. That's why he's not running around beating his chest and laughing about ending DAPA or deporting tons of beaners, etc. He's trying to do it subtly without drawing ire from the (((enemy))). Unfortunately, it also has the side effect of making /ourguys/ think he's not actually doing anything.

It makes a lot more sense to just let DACA expire next year and not renew it. It won't be a big press story that way. Various individuals will just start asking "uh… is he going to renew that yet?" instead of there being one big chest-beating event where he rips it up.

The biggest flaw of our system of government is that there's no real checks on the judicial branch. All you can do is kick the can to a higher court. But the higher courts are even more political and talmudic than the lower courts. There's absolutely nothing in place to combat judicial activism. The idea that a judge needs to base his argument in the constitution is complete bullshit. It's a fantasy. Ginsburg could take a shit on a piece of paper and file it into the official record and that would count as her ruling. Nobody could do anything about it.

I'm not sure how the ruling is going to be. Could be 5-4 or 4-5, depending on Kennedy (aka the guy who let fag marriage happen). Kagan and Ginsburg are super kikes. The spicy latinx would never allow it either (look up her dissent on the affirmative action case, absolutely disgusting and unprofessional). Breyer is a leftist kike too, although I suppose he has the highest chance of ruling in favor of the ban of any of them, but still unlikely.

That fucking burrito bitch is going to be a cancer on the court for decades. Obama made sure to get a younger, ultra left beaner in there for the long haul. At least a few of the kikes will either retire or die soon. Trump needs to stack that court with conservative, constitutional white men, all younger than 55.
