My favorite thing has always been the media constructing narratives with anonymous sources, people demanding for sources and they circlejerk over eachother's anonymous source. Because it's okay if Reuters anonymously says something that NYT anonymously cites them on and then CNN cites both, knowing somewhere along the line a 'fake news' site slipped in and they can exploit it to become 'their' agenda, their facts, etc.

But, the whole thing falls apart for the standard, non-zog human. You show someone a post from a Swahili basket eating fourm that talks about all the nonsense in the world, the guys name on that post is anonymous. It's instantly not credible because of where it came from (Swahili basket eating fourm) and who posted it (Swahili full from their all fiber diet). However, there is some clear distinction as it seems that not all anonymous sources are the same and they exploit this doublethink and doublespeak to shape the narrative even further.

I view it as what would happen if minority report were taken to it's absolute extreme, had no oracles or goofy shit and relied on humans policing each other and ratting them out.
