There's literally communist Palestinian resistance groups. The Ba'ath and the SSNP are also influenced by Marxism, sharing certain views
Kurds are autonomous yet heavily under influence of the USA/Israel. By influence, I mean supporting the legitimacy of our self-governance in our own autonomous zone. Russia is becoming increasingly influential in the Middle East and can support our cause, financially and politically. Do I want an Assyrian country? Yes, but not right now. Too few people, and sectarian divisions plague our nation (Chaldean and Aramean separatism)
If you want, it took me a while to accept that Marxist influence exists in some Assyrian groups. The NPU in Iraq are more democratic and conservative. The MFS aren't communist, and while socialist elements exist, they are nationalists. See the following to gain an understanding:

You're really not following. The Nineveh Plains will be an autonomous zone of Iraq the same way that Kurdistan is. The Nineveh Plains is not going to be included in the Kurdish referendum. We are not going to be apart of Kurdistan. The Assyrian/Chaldean/Syriacs living inside Kurdistan voted predominantly against Kurdish independence. We are going to remain apart of Iraq. In Syria, the Kurds are not fighting for independence, but autonomy and federalism of the north. Will they fight for independence in the future? Possibly, but unlikely. If they do, they will be crushed.
In Iraq, we are loyal to Baghdad. In Syria, we are loyal to Assad. The reality, however, is that the Assad regime has infringed on Assyrian rights. We've shown that we can fight, and we've legitimized ourselves through recent battles. The current goal right now of the ethnic groups in the region is federalism. An autonomous zone within Syria, remaining apart of Syria. There is no separatism, only cooperation with the government. Majority of Syrian Assyrians are pro-government, but that doesn't change the fact that we are Assyrians, and our rights need to be respected.
That's what happens. We kill Kurds when they overstep. Never forget the 1999 raid on a Peshmerga barracks where 40 Kurds were gunned down in retaliation for the murder of a young Assyrian woman. You don't know what really happens here.
Assyrians settled in Syria later, Iraq is the motherland, it is where the ruins of Nineveh, Assur and Dur-Sharrukin lay.
Notice I said that the words of Apo and the actions of other Kurds don't correlate.
Some Kurds are bros, some are autistic as fuck. Nothing we can do but resist them.
Why exactly are you worshiping Arab, Muslim leaders? Assyria would have existed today if the British honoured their promises. We fought and died in WW1, but the British don't honour their treaties. Instead, they betrayed us and created Iraq, placing Arab gypsy degenerates as kings so that the West could siphon oil.
Iraq and Syria are both Western imperialist inventions.
