This process can be greatly sped up, and utilized to do meaningful work. You see the man put the drone into the air and get a trivial wattage. The device is now sheering off high energy electrons and increasing the overall ionization factor (the mean lifetime of an electron) in the air surrounding the device. You use a battery so that the only thing grounding the system is your conductor which is carrying the charge. Take aluminum foil, or gold, or copper, or any metal (ideally a nano-porous network for high surface area), and stick it on a large conducting rod (100 meters tall). It can be held up by a balloon or whatever you need. Now turn on the "air purifier". This increases the exchange rate of charge between the cations falling from the sky, and the negatively charge Earth. And your conducting rod is the mediator for this interaction. Thus, the conducting rod must be as well grounded (to pull electrons from the Earth) as its exposition to cationic air. Cations will snip off electrons at an extremely high potential difference from the conductor. We have used high energy electron cascade to increase the number of them. For every cation, there will be an anion that could add electrons back to the metal. But they don't because the metal is still very negatively charged. Compared to the net-positive air. Anions will be repelled, and "make their way to the upper atmosphere", but in reality be cancelled by local cations around the device. However, the net effect is the same.

I don't think that it would be an issue. The AC current just needs the right frequency to sheer off the electrons. Amperage will change the rate. The power from the battery can be minuscule.

I think there's an optimal frequency of AC with optimal Amps and voltage where water will split with minimum energy loss. This is completely legit. However, it's still a process that has to abide by the laws of thermodynamics. In order to produce useful energy, extracted by whatever mechanism, the input power needs to be sufficient. What is the amount of charge stored in the atmosphere, and what the is the rate of charge deposition? Wouldn't do much good even if you could extract it at perfect efficiency, if it turns out that powering a ranch down in Nebraska depletes the entire thing in weeks.

Hate to break the bad news to you OP, but there are good reasons why this was never done.

Not only are the physical requirements absurd when scaled up to a useful level (square miles of tethered high altitude balloons, etc), but more importantly, if all those hurdles were economically surmounted, it would DESTROY our atmosphere.

It is exactly known to us in a thing called the first law of thermodynamics. You're splitting something and putting it back together, it's net zero. Even adding air won't do anything because splitting water yields H2 and O2. Burning the hydrogen will only react with oxygen (O2 remember?) in air to create H2O again. I suppose your just going to throw away the O2 you create and get other O2 from the air huh?
All the oxygen needed to fully react the hydrogen is already in there because you got the hydrogen by splitting water dumbo.
Even compressing it does not yield more energy. It can increase mechanical efficiency of an internal combustion engine burning a fuel but it does not make more energy.

I have zero special knowledge of electrical engineering, so I'm not qualified to judge OP on that aspect. However, with a background in aeronautics, I can confirm that the moon landings didn't happen. Occams razor suggests that the laser reflectors on the moon were placed there by remote controlled probe, much as the US and Russia sent Venera and Viking probes to Venus and Mars. Similarly, robotic sample return missions may have brought back lunar regolith. (If any samples were actually returned, that is – because it is well known that some ancient moon rock is found on Earth as the ejecta from old impacts onto the Moon's surface, which were caught in our gravitational pull, similar to the way Mars rock is occassionally found in the Arctic.)

Anyone with experience of rocketry understands that the hotter a rocket burns, the brighter and cleaner its exhaust. (There's a cloud of shit on ignition, but this rapidly ends, and the rest of the flight burns clean leaving only contrails.) This rule of thumb applies to all hydrocarbon/chemical combustion processes. The perpetually dirty-yellow exhaust of the Saturn V is irrefutable proof of an impressive-looking but woefully under-powered impulse. There's no debate: it's just a fact that a powerful liquid or solid fuel engine does not burn like that. (Look at a stage from a modern Russian or US rocket, which burns very hot and clean.)

If the Saturn V was any good, they'd have kept it as the basis for the Shuttle launch vehicle, instead of designing a completely new hybrid solid fuel/liquid propellant system. The USA had a poor record of making large rockets because, paradoxically, they were much better than the Soviets at minaturising nuclear warheads. (Almost all rocket technology came from the US and Soviet ICBM programmes. The USSR always led the way in heavy lift because their warheads and guidance electronics were very large and heavy.)

There is footage on the web — freely available now — of the Apollo astronauts faking high orbit images of the Earth from low earth orbit by placing elliptical cut-outs over a capsule window, to make the Earth seem vastly smaller. It doesn't fool modern audiences because, familiar with real-time weather satellite footage, we instantly recognise that the land masses and cloud cover is from a small section of the planet, not the entire globe. You can google this footage right now and see it for yourself. It's part of the documentary 'A funny thing happened on the way to the Moon'. The Apollo capsules and LEMs never left low earth orbit.

I've encountered NASA-released images of the Apollo and Gemini programs for decades. I have lost count of the number of times a 'genuine' photo was run through photoshop by some investogator, only to reveal a matt composite underneath — a crude 60s forgery. NASA periodically purges those images from its records, but plenty of copies of the originals remain in distribution, and discussed by enthusiasts.

Similarly, the 'lunar' shots have a physically impossible tendency to use the same matt painting backgrounds for different Apollo missions; the physically impossible lighting and shadows are irrefutable proof of multiple nearby light sources in a studio; and forgetful technicians helpfully left prop numbers and letters on some of the moon 'rocks'.

For my own part my suspicions were aroused when they dedicated time handling it on a lot of normie tier propaganda like mythbusters and that penn chap's show. So I read all the Apollo documents and watched all the pictures/footage (yes, I have ocd.)

No way they are real. I don't bother arguing it with people, but nothing makes sense about it.

Still, I think you are too categorical in your conclusion, which is an error and opens you for attack. We can only say that the public data about the moon landing is fake. We can't know if we have really gone to the moon or not. Explanations for the fake stuff can be everything from "we went, but weren't able to take proper pictures/footage and made some for propaganda purposes" to "we didn't go at all."

Personally I don't believe we've been to the moon either, and that the whole program was about saturating the sky with spy satellites. But that's just it, we don't know.
