They claim that Trump was not self-funded, but in fact receive most of his campaign funds from an American (not Russian, Chinese, etc). This American is Robert Mercer and his daughter Rebekah. They claim that most of Trump's policies are shaped by either the Mercers directly or from their previous employees. The previous employees for Mercer include Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway.
