The stock-owners have no power, and make no great fortune from their miniature stakes of ownership in Capital, but enjoy the luxuries and relative security that it buys and squabble to protect it. The "middle class" apes the fashions and sensibilities of the rich in order to bluff one another about their position on the pecking order.

They literally fight for scraps.


Democracy was what the rich Athenian Citizens who owned slaves or enjoyed the patronage of those who did called their Oligarchy. It's a convenient thing to pretend exists in the modern era in order to fool the lower classes into thinking that they have a government that represents them.

I'm not an anarchist, and I don't give a shit about you calling me a liberal (that's not what "liberal" means, I left reddit to get away from that).

As for substance - anarchist conflict resolution is stupid, and will inevitably lead to injustice. Third-party intervention is always necessary - otherwise there's literally no way to prevent the formation of a political vanguard, by which I mean a group of people that collaborate to capture cultural capital (assuming economic has already been abolished, which is a pretty hefty assumption to make) and ensure that "conflict resolution" goes their way. I do still believe in a monopoly of violence, only democratically controlled - and if that makes me a "liberal", fine, but tbh m8 I did believe that liberals had to uphold private property.
