As for the massive faggot that's OP: surprisingly I haven't heard of a furfag who has been big on FOSS, most are tech-illiterate retards or just don't care and use whatever works. I suggest you to archive your pictures yourself using an SQLite database or if you are too damn lazy, use a program for that, such as Shotwell.

i only used it once, but its a weird fucking thing... its like a collective de-centralized furry porn network where pictures, gifs, flashes, and whatnot are given tags (like e621) but you have to upload and tag your own pictures, which then supposedly get linked to the network so everyone can search the tags and find who has pictures with the tag you're searching for i think?
when i first installed it i thought it was a magnificent idea, then i realized i would actually have to tag THOUSANDS of pictures that i have, and probably everyone else already has, in different edits and varying versions.
i couldn't understand it so i gave up, sorry, low IQ windows user here.
