A Code of Conduct has a flair of professionalism and seriousness about it. But all these CoCs are just vapid shit that essentially boils down to "don't be an asshole". They are pointless because it's a self-regulating system: if you are an asshole no one will like you, so you will either stop being an asshole or you will leave because everyone just ignores you.
