I need to do a report in front of my class on how Russian Hackers influenced the US election. What can you guys tell me about the hack? Please provide sources if possible.
I can tell you that it's a load of shit. The whole "Russian hackers influencing the election" thing is purely pro-establishment propaganda, just like all that nonsense about "fake news".
On the other hand, spreading the rusky hax democrat narrative will piss off the /pol/ faggots that are polluting our board.
There is no sources, because it didn't happen. Its probably the saddest attempt at fear mongering I have ever seen in my entire life. No, this isn't a conspiracy theory, its literally having common fucking sense and seeing media sensationalism happen right in front of my face.
How did Russia hack the election? Because of one DNC whistelblower? Because one individual from Russia =/= "Russia hacked the election!" Thats nonesense to get people to rally against Russia, and the only people falling for it are the retarded democrats because they're sour they lost.
Did they directly hack the ballots? Because that doesn't make sense either because as far as the medias narrative is concerned Trump also lost the popular vote. Do they mean to imply Russia was on Hillary's side? The entire narrative contradicts itself.
Report on how bullshit it is and make your report about Yellow Journalism and Media Sensationalism instead.
Some facts to start with:
- The correct word is "cracker"
- John Pedosta's password was "password"
I have been deeply disturbed about Trump winning and this assignment is triggering me.
Enjoy your free trip to a safe space to chill out and your automatic A.
This is just McCarthy-era bullshit rearing its ugly head all over again.
Except literally nobody is taking it seriously this time. Some of the headlines are actually kind of cringeworthy Also Communism was a real threat in McCarthy era
They didn't. There was a (suppsed) DNC whistleblower, Seth Rich, who contacted Wikileaks and was later murdered by Hillary. But that isn't a hack, and he isn't Russian.
We are not doing your job, DNC. I thought ya'll were more creative then this.
This is great, thanks. How do we know that his password was "password" though? Was it his password before or after the spearfishing email?
I recall something about the IT staff realizing that they were hacked and then emailing the new password on the compromised system. Anybody have sources and/or screencaps if this stuff?
I can report competing theories but it can't be the central theme of the report. It has to be like OJ's "If I did it". What are the specific techniques that made this possible.
Also, I heard on NPR that the "intelligebce community" was able to determine that the cracker used a Russian keyboard. How is that possible to know, and couldn't any unicode character be spoofed? I'm pretty sure that I can type all kinds of stuff if I look up the unicode characters. Anyway, you guys seem well-versed in this stuff so I thought I'd ask you what you know.
What faggots are you talking about? Besides one or two faggots everyone once in a blue moon Holla Forums has been completely free of /pol/ rhetoric for at least a few months. Not to mention board quality is steadily going up again.
Yea, board quality hit a low about three months ago. Its gotten better in the last few weeks.
Just tell them the truth: the internationalist cabal of russians have a way of synchronizing their brainwaves with the wifi, giving them super hacking powers and full range of motion in the internet.
They could be hacking the power grid to your city, your phone, your email, and even you by modulating wifi to brainwaves
Be more subtle next time, stormfag.
Using slurs that end in fag is offensive and should be preceded by a trigger warning.
see: -> you
Stormfag here. You've killed Holla Forums with your whining about stormfags who were the ones actually making things.
There are no sources. The information that computer security companies have released and the US government's recently declassified report on the issue prove nothing and aren't worth wasting your time reading. Even reading them to understand why the other side thinks the way they do is a waste of your time as there is no reasoning with idiots like them.
To be accurate, Podesta's gmail password was actually "passw0rd". I suppose he thought he was being terribly clever.
All the butthurt /pol/acks in this thread can't stop sucking Trump's dick.
There is evidence Russia phished Podesta. Wikileaks themselves released that info. Check out this tweet thread for info: https://mobile.twitter.com/pwnallthethings/status/816621553643294720
That said, there's no guarantee Russia was the only Nation State that owned Podesta. Probably wasn't.
would be interesting in reading your shitty paper op
Check out this tweet thread for info: https://mobile.twitter.com/pwnallthethings/status/816621553643294720
What the fuck? Why not post that shit on a blog or another platform made for posting large amounts of information? That reminds me of something I would have done in elementary or maybe middle school. Interesting information that I'll have to look into myself though.
It's going to be difficult to suck now that Reince Priebus has gone on Fox and claimed that Trump accepts the findings of the intelligence community.
If that's too much information for you, how the fuck do you manage to read any thread on Holla Forums without sperging?
If that's too much information for you
Where did you get that from my post? I'm complaining that the guy used a service where he had to break up what would fit in a single post here or on many other websites into 15 separate posts.
To dumb it down for you: if you are talking about Hillary's emails, it was leaked by a romanian (not russian) hacker (not hackers). Then it was spread on the internet by russians, by germans, by australians, by .... every nation's citizens, who are using the internet.
They started to blame russians, because someone needs to be blamed, even if you make some conflicts, it was worth for them, so the focus is not on the actual email content.
You can compare the 'hack' to the Killian documents controvery, and compare the reactions of the whole country.
Now go back to /pol/
Here's the email that had the spearfish. (Above) Linked below is the idiot's password after the spearfish...
and to be clear, the leaker's nationality does not matter, since he was not state sponsored, nor politically biased, it just happened he found something interesting
✓ special characters
✓ at least eight characters long
seems fine to me
I might be done writing it in another week or two. Thanks for your interest.
Trump has apparently been convinced by the classified details that Russia is responsible for the DNC breach.
"He accepts the fact that this particular case was entities in Russia so that's not the issue," Priebus said on "Fox News Sunday."
holy fuck this is pathetic
mods please delete
basically it went down like this.
How about you do a report on the ZOG/Soros influence on the election you fucking newfag REEEEEEE
Here's what I can tell you: Soros did it, but he blamed it on the Hackers. I hope this helps you CIA.
Alex Jones and RT aren't Russian Propaganda
Rex Tillerson and Exxon aren't in major financial entanglements with Putin Regime
Assange going after the DNC and not the GOP has nothing to do with his relationship with RT and his history with the Obama regime
Paul Manafort never took money from the Russians
Alex Jones is Russian propaganda
They used the malicious scraping tool wget to pay off Julian Assange.
The official unclassified version of the US intelligence community's report "Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections" is available at:
“We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump”
I sure hope you're being ironic.
Assessments aren't evidence you stupid nigger. Your mother probably has made the assessment that you're not a retard, whereas an impartial observer would have your hands put in straight jackets so as to prevent another retard from spreading kike propaganda on a Nepalese basket-weaving site.
In any case now that the CIA's declassified report has been widely discredited
Where has it been discredited?
See, this is a perfect example of what I mean when I say someone is "deliberately uninformed." The following is by no means exhaustive:
Michael Hayden, a former head of the CIA and National Security Agency, said Saturday that the newly-released intelligence report describing Russia's efforts to undermine the US election was "a brick short of a load."
From a socialist publication:
With the stakes being so high, the report itself is shockingly underwhelming. The 15-page report consists of, in addition to various cover pages and explanatory sheets, five pages recapitulating information already released by the government—without any evidence, even of the most general kind. Then, seven pages of bizarre content analysis and freshman-level marketing summaries on the television channel RT. Even more bizarre, the bulk of the information related to RT is five years old, yet somehow is being used as evidence of interference in the 2016 election.
From the Daily Beast:
The unclassified report is unlikely to convince a single skeptic, as it offers none of the evidence intelligence officials say they have to back it up—none of those emails or transcripts of phone calls showing a clear connection between the Russian government and the political intrusions.
This is the second official U.S. report in eight days to undercut the government’s assertion that Russia was behind the election-related hacks. Last week, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI released a technical document that was widely criticized by cybersecurity experts...“At every level this report is a failure,” security researcher Robert M. Lee told The Daily Beast about the DHS/FBI document. “It didn’t do what it set out to do, and it didn’t provide useful data. They’re handing out bad information to the industry when good information exists.”
From Glen Greenwald on Democracy Now!:
The real issue, though, is that there has been a very extreme dearth of evidence to actually support the claims that have come from the U.S. government, largely, though not exclusively, through anonymous sources laundered through newspapers. People were very skeptical, rightly so, when Julian Assange came out and declared that his source was not the Russian government... Unfortunately, there is very little skepticism being applied to the agencies that have repeatedly misled and deceived and lied to the American public, which is the CIA and other intelligence agencies, who, when they’re not lying, are often simply wrong, particularly when it comes to things like attribution of a hack, which is a very difficult thing to pin down.
Too long? Didn't read? Here's a 5 minute video that requires no reading!
Too long? Didn't read? Here's a 5 minute video that requires no reading!
but he has a funny nose :^(
Lol. You seem upset. Take a nap.
How did such an unimportant report generate such an impassioned, detailed, emphatic response? Very curious.
Not who you replied to, but it's the disproportionately kike-controlled media is pushing this narrative like there's no tomorrow. If it wasn't affecting discourse, there wouldn't be a need to refute it.
that third pic is of some christcuck pastor
It's a joke, everyone who knows anything about data security can say as much.
I have a turboliberal friend who is pro-immigration and has a weird obsession with gender, but even he doesn't believe it, for the simple fact that he uses his brain once in awhile.
That's all that's needed to debunk this, just think about it a little bit.
That's a great browser.
Assessments are conclusions based on evidence. The report is completely unclassified, because some dumbass thought it would make the agencies look good to show all the conclusions with none of the evidence, so keep in mind that there's probably a fair amount of signals intelligence and human intelligence excluded.
It was enough to convince Trump apparently, so it probably deserves the confidence ratings given.
Except from all the non-evidence faggotry, this whole shitty saga implies some sort of high-horse morality that the government of USA, would never ever try to influence the leadership of another country and never ever do it in a dirty way.
Russia rigged the election for Golden Showers, with help from the FBI.
That is all.
God bless pastor Anderson. God bless America. Amen.
That third picture is wrong. Please correct it.
Either repent or Shut up.
schools are being used to make students tell propaganda to other students
how'd the report go?
I need to write it tomorrow...
That has been the case for a long time. For whatever reason, lots of these people go in education.
this for laughs.
100 sorosbucks have been deposited into your goodgoy account. Keep up the fight comrade.
They really did it! Incontrovertible proof!
This. It's just the death throes of an establishment falling apart.
Except McCarthy was right about every single thing.
He was wrong about most of his accusations and was finally publicly disgraced when people saw him peddle his bullshit on television.
need to do a report in front of my class on how Russian Hackers influenced the US election
Your homosexual professor gave you an impossible assignment, user.
No, he was right. Thank the Venona papers for vindicating him.
