Parker Robinson
Well…I was baptized catholic. My mom is catholic, and my dad is baptist. As a kid I never went to church. For a long time I was against religion, for no real reason other than that's how the world is these days. Attacking Christians is an accepted, and popular thing to do. After swallowing the red pill my values started to align more with Christians than the "progressive" values of the mainstream, so I wanted to get into religion to be closer to people that share my values so I wouldn't feel so alone in the world.
About a month ago some Mormon missionaries showed up at my door, and they were cute girls so I listened to them talk. Been hanging out with them and doing lessons ever since, and soon I will be baptized a Mormon. I don't know where this will lead me, but I feel better than I did before. Would recommend anyone that feels alone and that they have nowhere else to go in life to get into a Christian religion. Maybe things change for you. At the very least it's something different.

Most humans go to hell and Jesus comes eventually… Why the hell not? My religion is agnostic but not caring as long as Jesus is real. Id like to know what hell is like rather than cheat and take his shortcut.

tbf the many Christian denominations do not agree what exactly is hell or who goes there…
I'm inclined to view hell as simply non-existence; if you don't believe in God then when you die you will simply cease to exist, no immortality, no heaven for you

If the Bhikkhu desires, with the purified heavenly eye beyond human sees beings disappearing and appearing in un-exalted and exalted states, beautiful and ugly, in good and evil states, know beings according to their actions. These good beings misbehaving bodily, verbally and mentally, blaming. Noble ones, with wrong views and wrong actions, after death are born in loss, in hell. As for these good beings conducting well in body, words and mind, not blaming noble ones, with the right view of actions, after death are born in increase in heaven. Abide endowed with virtues, honoring the higher code of rules, be full of reverence, seeing fear in the slightest fault, observe the virtues. Complete virtues for internal appeasement, without neglecting jhana be endowed with wisdom and develop silent abidings.
Elijah Barnes
Bhikkhus, at the time the Bhikkhu abides reflecting feelings in feelings, …re… the mental states in the mind…re…thoughts in the Teaching, mindful and aware to dispel covetousness and displeasure for the world, his mindfulness is established without forgetfulness. At a time the Bhikkhus mindfulness is established, the enlightenment factor mindfulness is established to the Bhikkhu, at that time the Bhikkhu develops the enlightenment factor mindfulness and completes it. He abides with those thoughts mindfully examining them, wisely searching for the solution…Bhikkhus, at a time the Bhikkhu abides thus, mindfully examining the Teaching wisely, to search for the solution, he develops the enlightenment factor the investigation of the Teaching, and completes it. When those thoughts are wisely examined for a direct solution with aroused effort the enlightenment factor effort, is established to the Bhikkhu, at that time the Bhikkhu develops the enlightenment factor effort and completes it. With the aroused effort arises immaterial joy. When immaterial joy arises the Bhikkhu is established in the enlightenment factor joy and it gets completed. When the mind is joyful the body is appeased, so too the mind. When the mind and body are appeased, the enlightenment factor appeasement gets established in the Bhikkhu, with development it gets completed. When the body is appeased the pleasant mind concentrates. At that time the Bhikkhu is established in the enlightenment factor concentration, with development it gets completed. The Bhikkhu thoroughly examines the concentrated mind. At that time the Bhikkhu is established in the enlightenment factor equanimity, with development it gets completed.

I who would follow the Teachings of Buddha Should concentrate earnestly morning and night With resolve in my heart, on these Teachings the Buddha Has given to free us from suffering's grasp.
Ryder Johnson
This is the first of the things to remember: Throughout all the world there is nothing that's permanent. Even the Earth has the nature of transience. Bodies are centers of sorrow and emptiness. All of my parts are devoid of self, Are dependent on causes and therefore impermanent, Changing, decaying and out of control. Expectations of permanence cause disappointment, Forming attachments that lead to wrongdoing. Observing the world in this light, may I daily progress toward freedom from birth and from death.

If you dont explain what Mhikkhu is then you are just a troll or a copy/pasting tard.

This is the second thing I should remember: Excessive desire only brings me to suffering. Birth and death, sorrow and weariness all are from Greedy attachment to things of this world. But controlling desire cuts the root of unhappiness, Leaving the body and mind to relax.
Liam Stewart
Definition of bhikku plural -s

Ayden Ward
This is the third of the things to remember: Insatiable cravings for things of this world Only cause me to pile up more useless possessions, Increasing my motives for sin and wrongdoing. A seeker of freedom should let go of craving And, seeing it's uselessness, grow in contentment. Rejecting life's baubles and seeking the Way I'll concern myself only with gaining release.
Wyatt Torres
This is the fourth of the things to remember: My laziness leads to my own degradation. I always should work just as hard as I can Because only by this can I solve all my problems And so be released from the things that bedevil me, Finally escaping to Infinite Light.
Benjamin Hernandez

So Hitler was the bigger tolerant ever? This is why he used things related with buddhism?

Chase Ramirez
I am serious, what we call tolerance is just a mix of hedonism and individualism, eventually non needed necessities will consume resources and resources arent infinite, even others are necessities for hedonism and individualism, therefore a clash between necessities is a natural consequence, prior to this not tolerating tolerants will force people to stay in his place and never molest others, like a mother beating her daughter because she fuck niggers, a posteriori not tolerating a tolerant is stopping something that allows a force that is destined to force all people to not tolerate each other, this is why the left is a mess, feminists fighting fags, black insulted by middle class whites talking for them, Bernie losing to Hillary, Hillary being dumped by the femenine vote, etc.
Julian Gomez
This is the fifth of the things to remember: The roots of unhappiness spring from my ignorance. I who would follow the Buddha, remember to Listen and read to develop my knowledge, So as to aid other sufferers, hoping to Bring sentient beings Nirvana's release And awaken them all to Enlightenment's bliss.
Brayden Reyes
Btw, is not buddhism what is being rekt (it was already dumped after greeks adopted christianity) its american liberal bullshit what is being rekt.
Camden Perez
This is the sixth of the things to remember: Ill feeling is often occasioned by poverty Leading to discord and further unhappiness. Following Buddha's example, I always should Treat every being with love and respect. Having malice toward none, I should dwell in contentment And aid and encourage all beings to Peace.
Isaac Wilson
This is the seventh thing I should remember: The passions would lead me to sin and to sorrow, But students of Dharma won't drag themselves down By relying on pleasure to bring themselves happiness. Better to think of the monks in their robes, Who are happy and free from the causes of misery. Seeing the benefits brought by the Teachings, I firmly resolve to attain to Enlightenment, Being a better example to others, In hopes that they also will gain this release.
John Morgan
but who chooses what is the best of each religion
Thomas Taylor
This is the eighth of the things to remember: The flames of existence are hard to escape from. They bring us to pain and to sorrow unlimited. Thus I resolve to awake from my slumber And, feeling concern for all sentient beings, Arouse in myself an intense dedication Which lets me withstand all my pain with forbearance, Avoiding taking it out on my neighbors But helping them, too, to attain Perfect Peace.
Elijah Morgan
you coupled with the insight of your higher self/spirit genius self, only you can decide what is true for you regarding your religious opinions
Grayson Phillips
These are the precepts that lead to enlightenment, This is the path that was trod by the Buddhas, The great Bodhisattvas and Buddha's disciples. The truths they remembered which brought them release. I will follow them carefully, constantly try to Develop compassion and wisdom together To help me escape to the opposite shore Whereupon, freed from suffering, I can return To the realm of Samsara in comfort and joy, Bringing freedom and peace to all sentient beings. These statements are tools that will help me remember. In order to follow the Teachings, I'll always Remember these eight ways of looking at life, Gaining the wisdom and peace of Nirvana For only by this will I always be free From the wheel of rebirth with its pain and its sorrow, At last and forever to finally find rest.
Landon Green
I follow the path of the left hand, where the only rule is: "Nothing is true, so everything is permitted"(No AC didn't come with that one, the just "borrowed" it like W40K did with chaos)
This is not a religion, and no, I don't worship any god/s as default.
Also we almost don't have any misticism, because there is some unwritten guide lines like; "If something doesn't work, throw it out off the window" So most misticism ended up in the trash.

religious tolerance doesn't work. it sounds nice and gives you good feelings, but it doesn't work in practice.
Logan Phillips
Why not? Of course it works, tolerance is always better than intolerance. And we are not talking about tolerating a practice or custom deemed illegal by a state, but mutual tolerance between religionists and non-religionists where no discrimination or persecution takes place.
Christian Hall
It won't work because certain doctrines are intolerant by their very nature.
Charles Robinson
I am a ponist
Jordan Green
And those are the exact ones that need to moderate and learn more tolerance.
Carson Baker
When people become more tolerant, either the intolerant doctrines will be abandoned or they will be interpreted in a more tolerant fashion. Religious tolerance is the superior position for rational beings.
Nathan Robinson
It won't happen. The ones who push this nonsense to begin with are the same jews that believe in what the previous picture I posted says - they don't care about being tolerant to others, they just want people to tolerate their evil.
Tolerance is apathy, the last virtue of a dying society.
Xavier Flores
Your definition of tolerance is a strawman definition; tolerance doesn't mean allowing that which is intolerant or illegal.
Brody Ortiz
Atheists can be religious user…
This, just christianity and bhuddism are really tolerant.
Actually is exactly the opposite, this is not an opinion, its a fact, just check yurop.

Well lad, some religions are designed to train its adherents to be intolerant. Like Islam, which teaches non-Muslims should be enslaved or killed. Or Judaism, which teaches non-Jews should be enslaved by Jews. Why should I tolerate the belief I should be killed?
