Google has responded with a new wave of lobbying and self-policing methods designed to assure advertisers they've taken care of their fake news problem and are worth the money. With of course and eye to places like China to show them that their platform does not have to allow anti-government voices but with a few tweaks could be perfectly compatible with China.
