"socialist" countrys in crisis

Hello, /leftypol, whats your thoughts on some of the selfproclaimed socialist countrys namely north korea and venezuela.
Is their interpretation of marxist philosophy flawed, is it the people who rule these countrys or forren aggression that make them so shitty?

North Korea isn't even self proclaimed socialist. In fact, if somebody posts that webm, you will see that they are the exact opposite.

There is virtually no qualitative difference between the govt of Venezuela and the Govt of the US or UK or Norway, only quantitative ones, they are not socialist either.

They are not Marxists.

Support Venezuela or get banned for supporting the CIA managed imperialist economic war.

they deprivatized some industrys didnt they?

….nobody said they were

So have the governments of the US/UK and Norway..

oh really? which industries?

so are there any socialist countries? not counting those hippies in scandinavia

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nationalizations_by_country#United_Kingdom

You should ask yourself why they talk about Venezuela and not other countries

Take SA as an example, they are in crisis at the point they've adopted the warmonger role. But no one in the media will tell you the only reason they haven't fall apart is because of USA's help

They aren't in crisis, actually, the 2nd bigest South Korea political party wants to unite with NK

It's SK who is in crisis, that's why USA is right now sending it's army, to ocupy Korea again, not the north but the south

i get your point but, isnt that different from saying all bakeries are staterun now?

you fuck of with your media shit, im asking about those countrys because im interested in marxist views of those countrys not because the massmedia has brainwashed me, the north korea stuff makes me sad though user, like there are konzentration camps in NK thats a human crisis if i ever seen one

You mean, which industries in the US/UK are nationalised? In the UK, the Health Service. In the US, the Troubled Asset Relief Program could be considered a part nationalisation, along with the RailRoads, Amtrak for example.

You could even throw the police and TSA etc into that.

Its all social democracy with varying mounts of spending on public services

Rojava is a on track to becoming one, so i suppose you could consider it such, although it could just as easily not become one. There are pockets of socialism here and there, Greece for example, or the Campesino syndicates in Honduras. Chiapas under the control of the Zapatistas.

No, because there's still private property.

it's comfy here in norway though. you jelly?

very interesting thanks

they are? so just state regulated then?

I meant that there is still private property in these countries, so they're not socialist.

oh come on, you are just trolling now

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_oil_production

Norway is not very high in the oil production rank

datosmacro.com/pib/noruega

And yet, it doesn't look too comfy to me

2016 64.000€ -4,6%
2015 67.100€ -8,3%
2014 73.200€ -5,4%
2013 77.400€ -2,0%

What about the serious lack of transparency and daily constitution-raping by the Venezuelan government? What do you think about the national assembly (congress)'s current situation?

And the insanely high murder and crime rates caused by the impunity under Chávez and Maduro's governments.

There is a serious lack of transparency in pretty much every world government.

As I said, these are quantitative differences rather than qualitative, the relationships are all basically the same, its only a question as to what extent.

Insanely high crime rates are pretty common for any collapsing economy. On top of that, that region of the world is subject to crazy high crime rates, you can thank the CIA for that, their destablisation of the region (starting with the murder of Jorge Gaitan in Columbia and onwards through the 20th and 21st century) and subsequent involvement in the drug trade (in order to fund the Contra death squads in Nicaragua, this is but one instance) is a large part of how crime in south/central america has gotten to be so that all the cities with the highest murder rates in the world reside in the region, Caracas, San Salvador, San Pedro Sula etc

Are you a new black flag? If not, are you feeling okay?

No I've been here a while. Why do you ask?

It was a good post.

There's more than one poster for most flags fam.

DPRK is a fascist ethno-state, read The Cleanest Race.

Venezuela is a kleptocracy that exchanged the regular nationalist rhetoric for a leftist one - both sides of the political climate are just different sections of bourgeois interests.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_parties_in_South_Korea#Main_parties
hmmm

any parties and even openly stated positive opinions on the DPRK are outlawed in south korea. take your US author written smear and go find some bourgeoise gay club to suck some dick.

and I've been Black flagging the longest. I took a little break to focus on other shit, ducked out a little, and now I come back and some asshole has been wiping the flag all through the mud. Shit hurts

So they're likely not publicly calling for some reunification on DPRK's terms then? Which is what the previous poster claimed.

I'm not going to search it just for you, do your own research or at least an actual argument, idiot

guilt by association up to three generations, torture and hunger are the norm in north korean reeducation camps, but i guess thats just western agents disguised as starving refugees

how is nk not in crisis? they are isolated and poor

first of all DPRK is not socialist

second of all DPRK is better than RK (see infographic)

Nigga wut. Don't say another word unless you have some sick ass sources

Son u need to remove that communalist flag go read some book him. There is nothing democratic about dprk

Fuck read bookchin ducking autocorrect

...

Slander. We stand with the DPRK against imperialist lies.

Is that why they use beer bottle IVs in their hospitals and accept foreign US doctor aid that has to go there and actually teach them how to practice surgery?

Yeah, also why Cubans have to eat condoms instead of pepperonis on their pizza.

Tankies just never learn don't they

I doubt Chavez and Kim Ill read Marx ever in their lives

...

Quit apologizing, watch a fucking documentary, this situation in NK is bad especially with this shit medical care, illiteracy, and Kim worship. You closing your eyes and going LA LA LA I CANT HEAR YOU NK IS ANTI-IMPERIALIST THAT MAKES THEM GOOD shows you're just a braindead tankfag. You might as well go join the conservatives with how much you "support" the worker struggle and socialism.

lmao anarchist asspain

You should post in the OC thread, because I have never heard that before. The Korean writing system is actually very easy to learn. The reason is it isn't a spontaneously growing mess, but literally something engineered to be logical.

Too bad we didn't have Holla Forums in 1990, you could have told us to
