California more billionaires then any place on Earth

Seriously, what the fuck is it with this state? Why are there so many billionaires there? According to American conservatives its just a left-wing hellhole with no dynamism where everyone chills on welfare and smokes weed and high-taxes smothers what few innovative individuals that exist. And yet such an enormous concentration of wealth exists thats unlike any place in the country or anywhere else on Earth. How do they reconcile this idea with reality?

Its fascinating to me too how many of America's most successful conservative politicians come out of this state. Looking at wikipedia it seems the claimants to wealthiest man in the US all hailed from either California or another Western state in the post-war period. What explains this? Lower-taxes for oligarchs? A headstart on whats now called "neoliberal globalization" by Western capitalists due to their geographical location? Higher profits then other regions because there's more room to develop then East of the Mississippi?

Because they think social liberalism is equivalent to Communism. They are stupid.

California has the highest population, and has the Hollywood, a big part of the US agriculture industry, Silicon Valley, a big university system, the defense industry is present in a big way. Since it's on the coast there is more trade going on for geographical reasons.

Also, the areas in the greater Northeast, upper Midwest, and West Coast are cultural offspring of New England in many ways, which is why you see lots of industries that grow out of the university system (as opposed to the South which is always trying its hardest to get as close to bringing back actual slavery as it can). You can make a ton of money in things like software, finance, pharmaceuticals, and the like, but in the US in general there are fewer opportunities for more poorly-educated workers, as third-worlders can do their jobs better. This is another way in which extreme inequalities can be fostered by the blue state model.

Really makes you think.

Who cares about tax rates when you can dodge all your taxes by locating your company in 🍀🍀🍀Ireland🍀🍀🍀 while enjoying the nice California weather?

Just another reason why I hate California. It’s culture is shit, it’s people are jerks, no one care about other people, it’s ultra-individualist, many people don’t speak english, the land is to expensive, the people there are to lazy to farm so they have to have immigrants farm for them. Fuck California. How anyone can thing that ultra-individualist shithole is leftist is beyond me. New England Independence Now.

California was and is one of the most self-sufficient states in the union with a massive disparity in living conditions from bustling city to rural shithole so pre-global economy you could get pretty much all the benefits of outsourcing jobs to shitholes and bringing the goods back except you didn't even have to cross state lines and pay off multiple states for your nasty business. Also, California is pretty much the birthplace of illegal immigrant labor which is also a massive moneymaker.
Finally, even if you end up making your riches elsewhere you can just live in California and enjoy the weather bruh.

are you sure

The IRA need to drive the snakes (multi-national companies) out of Ireland. Get out ye blacks and tans. Come fight me like a man.

The cities are shit, but the rual areas are more collectivist. People care more about one another. Than say is California.

Also unlike the rest of the country real socialism isn’t non-existent here. Worker owned Cooperatives are becoming more popular.

As a Californian, I can attest to this. Absolutely miserable shithole in every single way and where revolution must start (doesn't matter if it will, it must). I can't believe I'm agreeing with a Nazbol on anything.

I'm from New England, it feels pretty individualist to me, at least compared to other areas outside of the West Coast. You probably just don't live in Boston.

You are more proof that the people who use this flag are memeing retards.

I’m from Connecticut which is pretty shit, but I’ve been to rual Vermont which is mostly farmland and is really cool.

Fuck off Libral

Connecticut is practically New York.

I know, I’m thinking of moving to rual Vermont, or Main. The culture up there is much better, and collectivist.

but thats not Vermont or Massachusetts

Massachusetts is like a mini-California, but colder and with worse drivers.

more faggots and jews than any place on earth

California and Massachuets have very different cultures. When has a Californian ever eaten Crab Cakes.

Seems pretty easy to piece together to me.

“Beautiful Women”
Women from California are very fat.

nice Holla Forums maymay

When the revolution comes to California, Silicon Valley will be turned into a giant gulag.

I'm glad a book I've been shilling is getting more popular.

Holla Forums wouldn't glorify Tankies let alone Communism, or even anything left of the axis..

There's not a place more deserving of summer camp fun than Silicon Valley.

California has the largest and best public universities in the USA, some are the best in the world. This was all because of massive US government investment, largely for defense purposes. Research laboratories like Lawrence Livermore and Sandia as well as the large number of military bases (the state is so big that I wouldn't be surprised if it had the largest military population) has injected large numbers of dollars to fund infrastructure and development in ways that other parts of the USA haven't received.

The central valley though is a hell hole and houses some of the poorest regions of the USA. Many counties score high in every poverty metric (read Yasha Levine's Oligarch Valley for a tour through the central valley).

Remember that this is where Reagan got his political start as governor. He is still regarded as a good example of a politician here, even by democrats. People are used to being very wealthy and are ignorant of socialist traditions.

The only places that have had any socialist culture are in the bay area (and the nearby People's Republic of Davis where the author of the OP pic teaches). This is part of a larger culture of radicalism though and lacks the focus on communities that socialism in other parts of the USA has produced.

Could be worse
Damn America is fat

Who
DOWN WITH THA THICCNESS?

We need to resurrect Tom Hayden and all the other popular leftist movements that were dominant when California was a Republican state
