Under capitalism life-saving medications are given high prices due to inelastic demand (meaning that people will pay whatever price you choose to not die). The autistic cappie pepe justifies this to the angry wojack by saying that the pharmaceutical company had to spend a lot of money on R&D and that it needs to make 6 billion dollars.

The joke is funny because the autistic cappie actually believes this is a satisfying answer to people who need these drugs but can't afford them.

It's only a matter of time until this generation, my generation, of online savy individuals reaches an age where they will decide to take porkies like Martin Shrekeli with them to the grave. Middle aged men are the highest suicide demographic and the one with the most potential for violence.

If there are any fucks that deserve a firing squad when revolution comes, it is the fucking for profit medicine industry. I'm a type 1 diabetic and even with insurance I have seen prices skyrocket. It's not like I have a choice - pay or die.

These people are the worst kind of scum. I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that so many of the people from these companies actually believe that they're helping people. And even the ones that know they're killing people justify it by saying "I'm just doing what everyone else was doing!"

Is there any way to make these people understand? Because I honestly don't see any possibility of that ever happening :/

The truly sad thing is that even if they did miraculously change their ways, the capitalist system would ensure that they would be punished. Competitors would extract so many super-profits from them that they would go bankrupt almost instantly. They would inevitably be forced out of the market or cannibalized by another company. What is more likely is that those who tried to create change within the company would be replaced by whoever will continue to make profits for shareholders. While capitalism exists there's nothing that can make a difference.

Let's not act like porky is a victim of circumstances. Anyone who is in control of such decisions is financially set for life already. These people are motivated by pure greed.

Except for that that user's right. Going on about the individuals is unmaterialistic. The problem is the system itself. Capitalism, not greed, is what must be destroyed.

And yet they will hang once the day of the rope comes. I will make sure of it.

Don't get me wrong I think that they are disgusting scum. Big pharma companies are some of the worst examples of capitalist greed that you can find today. My point is that waiting for some goody-two-shoes to turn a company into a philanthropic powerhouse is something that can literally never happen. Neither the company nor the market will allow deviation from the acquisition of maximum profit. Any entity or any individual who tries will be replaced. This is why the entire capitalist system must be destroyed.

Whatever. Just make the needless suffering stop for good.

Focusing too much on the identity aspect of class conflict is a mistake imo. Like yeah, a lot of capitalists will def have to die, but that's not the important part. The important part is power shifting from the cappies to the proles so a new social order can form.

These people are the corporate equivalent of war criminals.

The people at the very top are a small minority. The focus should be on replacing capitalism and not on witch hunts. I do thing that there should be punishments for the things they've done, but that'll come after the revolution and not during it.

Nah. We'll have a Nuremburg for corporate suits, country by country, until there are no more nations anymore.

You need both.
That fat canadian cunt praising inequality was the moment I realized that even though I hover around socdem territory most of the time, I definitely have the capacity to take up arms in a revolution inside me.

You're being ridiculous. These are people who are used all the same by the system to fulfill a role that needs to be fulfilled. To blame them for fulfilling their role because of their obsessive drive for greed is the same as blaming a druggie for financing cartel violence because they keep buying drugs. The system needs to be destroyed for the wellbeing of everyone, even the ones at the top. Witchhunts and hangings does nothing except add more suffering to the world, and shifts the blame from the unfeeling system to individuals only trying to serve their apparent self-interests. They're driven insane by Capitalism same as everyone else, the role they have is just more visible and easier to put blame on.

You act as though they don't have a degree of choice in their role. People can choose to act against their apparent self interest.
If they surrender to the revolution without a fight, naturally there'll be no reason to kill them. In practice, why would they surrender to a revolution against their apparent self interest?

You can still spurn your role if you so choose. It might mean taking your own life, but so be it. Being brutally expunged by revolutionaries is simply an occupational hazard for the bourgeoisie. Don't like it? Work elsewhere.

It's absurd to expect anyone to do that, especially people like the bourgeoisie who have so much to lose. Their shitty life and actions are its own punishment. Strategic assassinations are something completely different, but just killing them because of the role they were likely born into is pointless and unethical.

Don't be so sure. The alt-right sucks his dick. And there are probably more of them than us.

US will continue be an unlivable shithole for the foreseeable future.

Tsar was asking for it.

Funny how no matter how many kings you kill, the kingdom remains.

It's just what happens when you get rid of the very concept of morality.
The alt-right love it because they actually want immorality.

I missed the restoration of the Tsar.
(And for that matter, the end of the 10th French Republic or whatever they're on now.)

The same principles of domination came back with a vengeance under the guise of red banners precisely because the Politburo abandoned the prospect of establishing socialist relations (Soviet workers' councils were actually abolished).

Instead, it saw the "practical" need to shift to the right and extend a state capitalism to new heights by going after various individual peasants and "revisionists" until nobody dared to oppose them, both domestically in the apparatus of rule and within the masses of working people, leaving in its wake a totalitarian capitalism under red bureaucracy.

They went so far that they had to justify their new "model" of socialism with bullshit concepts like "socialist accumulation" and completely ignoring the Marxist communist principles they supposedly stood on:

That's because the kingdom was destroyed, the king being killed usually came after that.

idealist trash, but nice try at LARPing as a Marxist
