Failed about as bad as Evolve. It would fail as a competitive game because at the time (not sure if they fixed it) they couldn't even keep a steady 30 fps. Character design was horrendous or wholly inconsistent. It was hardly promoted so nobody would know it came out, just like how lawbreakers is failing now.

Paladins would still be released as a f2p moba based shooter (as it was originally intended) and kill battleborn. Stillborn characters are just far too ugly and the ui/gameplay is still a messy.
