Gameplay is leading your flag waving hero at the enemy using a fixed selection of units. You can build more units but only of the six or so you picked before starting the battle.
My guess is that it will take less than a week before faggots figure out the optimal build order and meta breaking strategy thus ruining any casual enjoyment of the game.

It has a few neat things going for it like being supposedly easily modable, which is good because I can already tell people are going to want to remove the resource and unit caps from the base game.
On the downside (or maybe upside balance wise) there is literally zero difference between the 4 factions other than color scheme, commander avatar, and background music. So it is essentially a one sided RTS not unlike Meridian. It is also casual as fuck and likely to be something that quickly gets ruined by the RTS scientist crowd who autistically memorize unit stats and so forth. But on the flip side there won't be much map whoring to worry about because it's such a simple game that levels can be randomly generated for each match.
It seems like it could be interesting but it definitely is pandering to the lowest common denominator. Which might be a good thing if it can get more people interested in the RTS genre.

Because you retarded nigger, like it or not to get games made you have to have people who will buy them. Of course not everyone who gets drawn in will be good but some of them will get gud and move on to things like SupCom, CnC, AOE, etc.
You can't just make a game that panders to a hardcore crowd because then you end up broke and your studio shut down. You have to be able to walk the fine line between being accessible to casuals while also having enough depth to keep hard core players engaged. Tooth and Tale seems like it is going to be extremely casualized but oh fucking well, you have got to start somewhere. Unless of course you'd prefer the current MOBA crazy to continue.
