They changed the game to dissuade people from killing all the little sisters to prevent that very idea, and to give incentive saving them. Now THAT is fucking retarded.

The two main characters in the game? Yeah they had shit to say, but they weren't really the focus of the game at all. Tax exemption and religious recognition has nothing to do with "harmfulness" and "status quo" as you put it. L Ron Hubbard got denied tax exemption for his religion because they had a strong case that he created a religion purely to make a lot of money. You know how they knew that?
