I liked Chie the best in vanilla P4. It was vanilla P4 that made me a "Chie-fag" I guess. That was before they kicked the "steak and kung-fu lol" into overdrive, so back then she didn't seem like a such a one-trick pony. Also Tracey Rooney's much lower-key delivery instead made Chie come across as kind of a regular girl-next-door. She was basically the normal girl of the group. Hell her Valentines event even says this word for word. When Erin Fitzgerald took over the role she hyper-ed Chie up a ton. To be fair, this is actually much more in line with how Chie is portrayed in Japanese (I actually can barely stand Japanese Chie).

So a lot of what I liked about Chie actually had to do with how she was portrayed in vanilla P4 with her original NA voice actress. It's amazing how much just reading lines different can change a character. She's still my top P4 girl because of that, but I admit she's been hit probably the worst with the broad brush of dumbing down P4 characters in later iterations.

Teddie was annoying because of his voice and the constant kuma kuma/bear puns. Morgana's voice is okay (at least the japanese one, I didn't even bother checking out the dubs) and so is his speech, he would've been fine if it he didn't control your life.

the English voice acting in persona 5 is surprisingly bad. The actual actors aren't too' terrible but they lack emotion and they keep mispronouncing peoples names. I felt that with Okami, P4 and Witcher 3 and I'm likely taking breaks of P5 to keep that at bay (though I was planning this DaS run I'm making for quite a while).
