Fuck of; Call of Duty is shit and has been since WaW. The only good thing to come from it is modded zombies on PC which manages to blow every official map since WaW out of the fucking water.

Blame Modern Warfare 2 for that. All the games before then you where just some average joe just trying to survive while completing your missions.

WaW was a little showpiece-y in its level design, but Modern Warfare 2 was where every level design was centered around making show pieces and trying to have a 'nuke moment' every other level. It just got worse from there as it appealed more and more to the fratboy demographic and became reliant on it.

I guess it's like the west's version of anime; anime by far and large is reliant on the otaku for it's cash due to production costs, so they keep churning out generic rom-com waifu bait anime's with relatively the same plot and characters but with a single cosmetic difference or two.
