Craig Murray, former British ambassador to Uzbekistan and associate of Julian Assange, told the Dailymail.com he flew to Washington, D.C. for emails. He claims he had a clandestine hand-off in a wooded area near American University with one of the email sources. The leakers' motivation was 'disgust at the corruption of the Clinton Foundation and the tilting of the primary election playing field against Bernie Sanders.
Craig Murray, a close associate of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, told Dailymail.com that he flew to Washington, D.C. for a clandestine hand-off with one of the email sources in September.
'Neither of [the leaks] came from the Russians,' said Murray in an interview with Dailymail.com on Tuesday. 'The source had legal access to the information. The documents came from inside leaks, not hacks.'
Murray is a controversial figure who was removed from his post as a British ambassador amid allegations of misconduct. He was cleared of those but left the diplomatic service in acrimony.
I'm not memeing you. We get badges and donuts every wednesday. It's very comfy tbh fam
David Nguyen
Would you fucking shut up already
This is why we can't have nice things
Owen Cox
Why did he reveal this information? They now have a clue about when and where the source was when they were leaked. He has put his source at risk for no net gain.
Ryder Morgan
Also why did he tell it to the fucking Daily Mail of all things? Is there a less respected news source in the UK?

The Washington Post and NYT, and Guardian, are not excited by stories that blow their own reporters into little pieces of shit.
Jackson Carter
Doesn't Glen Greenwald work at the Guardian?
Daniel Cruz
He's done articles for them. I think he's full time with the Intercept now.
Connor Carter
He's a critic of the Guardian now
Adam Sanchez
Listen, I really want to believe this but
I think I'll wait a confirmation to celebrate
Matthew Rivera
Until the genuine source comes forward or is identified there's really nothing to celebrate. The WWIII baiters will continue as usual.
Jayden Mitchell
What would be enough to make you sacrifice your friends, family, home, and freedom, living under constant guard in some pariah 3rd-world country's embassy, just for your belief in truth and justice?
Adam Richardson
What is the Clinton Foundation up to?
People talk so much about Pizzagate and what not, that the CF gets completely ignored.
Joshua Cox
It's unfortunate really, because it seems like there is legitimately some shady shit that pizzagate is uncovering, but now it's flooded with lunatics. Much of it is tied up with Haiti, and people trying to smuggle children out of it, or people investigating it dying, and associations with known, convicted pedophiles.
But instead of focusing on any of that or digging through emails to try and find proof or information or more leads everyone seems to be fixated on this grand satanic conspiracy with Hillary Clinton at its head, while all the social media connections that have been leading to these things get wiped from the internet in a clear panic.
That's the really scary thing about Pizzagate, is that beneath the lunacy we are seeing records altered and references scrubbed and accounts deleted in order to make it look like nothing ever happened.

Sure is confirmation bias in here.
Brody Allen
Nah he left after wikileaks shit.
Correct. In a kind of twisted sense the Mail has become a more credible source on stories involving anything Russian.
Caleb Peterson
DNC leaks were in July. There is an extremely high chance this is fake, unfortunately.
