Good star wars (specifically trooper related) games?

i'm aching for a fun star wars game where i get to serve the empire
i've already beaten the campaigns on battlefront 1+2, and don't feel like playing them again
i've played the M&B mod, but i have issues with it's AI/gameplay
what other storm/clone trooper related options do i have for vidya?

Republic Commando

That's about it for games where you specifically play as a trooper unless you count the RTS games like Force Commander, Galactic Battlegrounds, and Empire at War.

republic commando seems fun enough
i'm not particularly keen on the RTS ones since they don't focus on the troopers as much

The latest Star Wars games that don't suck or are EA jewware are tabletop. Assuming you have friends, and that's a big if, get Imperial Assault. That'll scratch your itch.

Sins of a Solar empire have multiple good mods about SW.

it's alright, but the AI keeps staying in 1 spot, and blasters are inaccurate as fuck
the board game is fun though, swindling money from vader never felt more fun

Republic>Rebels>CIS for sure, but the Empire was civilization par excellence in the SW universe, at least in the 'modern' era. OP, all I can say is Empire at War. You won't be in the armor yourself, but crushing a rebel defense with stacks of Star Destroyers and AT-ATs is some of the most fun I've ever had with a SW game
